SPLIT SHIPMENT: Split shipments are available. Orders for quantitiesof 288 to 1140 pieces can only have one shipment after the firstshipment. On 1152 piece orders and over, up to two additionalshipments are allowed provided they are within twelve months of thefirst shipment. Note: All caps are manufactured at the same time withadditional shipments held in Newton, IA. Changes or cancellationsare not possible on caps in storage.

Split shipment charge of $20.00(x) per release after first shipment.Split ship/split bill custom cap orders must be entered that wayinitially. If you need to increase the number of shipments after theorder is placed, a $40.00(x) reprocessing fee will be accessed. Youmust also cancel the original order and place a new order, indicatingthe correct number of shipments for that order.

CANCELLATIONS: No-fault cancellations by customer after pre-production sample has been made. This will result in a $200.00(x)charge-back to cover cost of artwork, tape charge, sample and labor.

DECORATION: Price includes free embroidery tape and front panel,embroidered decoration, up to 10,000 stitches and nine thread colors.TAPE CHARGE: No charge. DUPLICATE TAPES: Not available.STITCH COUNT: Up to 10,000 stitches included in price. Over 10,000stitches will require an extra charge of $.21(b) per 1,000 stitches.THREAD COLORS: Up to a nine color logo…choice of all popularembroidery thread colors. GENERAL INFORMATIONCONSTRUCTIONSTANDARD FABRIC COLORS: Refer to fabric colorchart in the Cap & Apparel Catalog. For fabrics oroptions other than shown in the catalog, a higherminimum quantity may apply. Call for quote.

BRAID: Can be added to any cap at no cost. Ropestyle only, available in a wide range of colors.

ADJUSTABLE BACK STRAP: Price includes choiceof four back straps: plastic snap back, fabric withvelcro, fabric with standard buckle or fabric with t-slide buckle. If a back strap style is listed for apre-configured cap, that will be the style usedunless otherwise noted. Entire order must havesame strap. Leather and faux leather straps are notavailable on mesh back caps.

CROWN SIZE: Using an adjustable back strap for customized fit, ourstandard one-size-fits-all crown size (fits approx. 7-1/8 through 7-3/8) isthe best option for a universal fit. Other options: XL size (fits approx. 7-1/2 through 7-7/8) Ladies (fits approx. 6-7/8 through 7) and Youth (fitsapprox. 6-1/2 through 6-3/4). Each option requires a factory minimum of288 pieces. Specific to Spandex Twill caps only: These stretch-fit capshave an elastic sweatband instead of a back strap. Because of this, thereare two size options for Spandex Twill: S/M (loosely fit at 7-1/8, andsnug at 7-3/8) and L/XL (loosely fit at 7-3/8, and snug at 7-7/8). Aminimum 288 piece order may be split 144/144 between the two sizeson spandex twill caps only.

ORDERSAll orders will require customer signature or customer purchase orderbefore pre-production sample is submitted for approval.

REGISTERED TRADEMARK/NATIONALLY KNOWN LOGO:A letter of authorization may be needed for use of the ® (Registeredtrademark) symbol or a nationally known logo.

ABSOLUTE MINIMUM: 288 pieces per style, per color with the sameembroidery. 576 piece minimum on custom orders. Orders over 576pieces can include more than one color of the same style cap, with thesame embroidery, with a minimum of 288 caps per color and a maximumof four colors per order. NO EXCEPTIONS!

SPEC SAMPLES: The best way to present the Custom Cap program to aprospect is with an actual spec sample of their hat. Spec samples cost$25.00(x) which is charged to your stabilization account when the sampleis ordered. If your customer places an order exactly as sampled, within30 days of receiving the spec sample, you'll receive $25.00 additionalcommission on your commission statement. Any changes to a specsample will result in another $25.00(x) charge. Requests for spec samplesmust be sent in on the spec sample order form which you can downloadon Account Pro or get a copy from the OEM Custom Cap department.

CUSTOM CAPS: If you have an idea that's not shown in any of ourcatalogs or have a sample of a cap you'd like a price for, contact theOEM Custom Cap department for a custom quote.

PRE-PRODUCTION SAMPLE: Will be required for approval on all orders.Please allow 4 weeks sample production time. Sample approvals must bein writing. After sample approval, NO CHANGES whatsoever can bemade on the order.

General Information — Stock CapsDOMESTIC DIRECT EMBROIDERY

Thread Colors: Up to 11 colors, unless otherwise noted on specific item.

Thread Color Change Charge: No charge for thread color changes with a 48 piece per item/cap color/ design/ thread color. Absolute minimum is 48 pieces per item/ cap color/ design/thread color.

Tape Charges: No tape charge for all direct embroidery all locations, up to 10,000 stitchesand 11 thread colors. Unless noted otherwise on individual item. Absolute minimum is 48caps total per order.

Tape Edit Charge: $15.00(g).

Front Embroidery Additional Charge for Stitches Over 10,000: Add $.30(g) per thousandstitches to the cost of the cap. Unless noted otherwise on individual item.

Additional Tape Charge for Stitches Over 10,000: Add $15.00(g) per thousand stitches tothe cost of the cap. Unless noted otherwise on individual item.

Across Back Seam Embroidery: Add $.95(g) each running charge for up to 5,000 stitchesand 11 colors.

Side or Back Panel Embroidery: Add $.95(g) each running charge for up to 5,000 stitchesand 11 colors.

3-D Puff Embroidery: 3-D ads will require art approval. Please add $1.40(g) per cap runningcharge, per location.

Customer Supplied Tapes: We accept customer supplied tapes. However, we have foundthat on many caps the customer supplied tape will not embroider well. In the event thisoccurs, we will re-make the tape on orders of 48 or more at no charge. We strongly suggesta pre-production sample on all orders with customer supplied tapes. When a customerprovides a tape they must indicate the stitch count, the format, and the color break of thedesign. Also, we need a copy of the design before we process the order. The VernonCompany’s Order department will advise the additional charges that are needed.

Existing Tapes: Embroidery tapes are designed for specific garments. For example, a tapecreated for a baseball type cap may or may not work on a knit cap, a tape used on a knitshirt may not work on a cap. Be aware that transferring tapes from garment type to anothermay require reworking and additional costs. The Vernon Company’s Order department willadvise the additional charges that are needed.

Metallic Thread: Not recommended. Available on a quote basis only.

DOMESTIC DIRECT EMBROIDERY- Knit Caps

Second location charge: Add $.95(g) each running charge for up to 5,000 stitches and 11thread colors.

Thread Color Change Charge: No charge for thread color changes with a 48 piece per item/cap color/ design/ thread color. For less than 48 pieces, add $15.00(g) charge.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - ALL CAPS

Due to the nature of materials, we cannot guarantee exact color matches from dye lot todye lot. We cannot guarantee washability or reaction to chemicals or solvents. Somevariances may occur in materials obtained from different suppliers.

Customers should provide camera-ready art if at all possible to avoid errors and delays. Ifartwork is required for special copy, add $40.00(x). For TMA (tailor-made art), add $80.00(x).

OPTIONAL CAP DECORATIONS

Braid or Strap Change: Contact Pre-sales Department for quote.

NOTE: Leather strap not available on mesh back caps.

ABSOLUTE MINIMUM - STOCK CAP DECORATION

The absolute minimum for stock cap decoration is 48 caps total per order. Caps must beordered in increments of 12 pieces per color/style.

COMBINED QUANTITY PRICING

You may combine caps for total quantity pricing only if all criteria below are met: 1) Must be all import or all domestic, not mixed. 2) Method of imprint must be the same. 3) Size of ad copy must be the same. 4) Color(s) of imprint must be the same. 5) No ad copy changes.

PROOFS

Fax or Email Proof: No charge.

Actual Sample Cap: No charge.

Resubmitted Proofs: $15.00(x). If changes are made after actual cap sample proof, VernonCo. Customer Service department will advise charges.

SHIPPING, PACKAGING & DELIVERY

Packaging: Bulk.

Mailers: Not available.

Split Shipment: $10.00(x) per each additional shipment. All releases must be at least$200.00 and be shipped within one year of date of original order. Original order - minimum$400.00. Minimum of 48 caps per shipment. Split ship/split bill custom cap orders must beentered that way initially. If you place the order as a single shipment, then want to changeto a split shipment later, a $40.00(x) reprocessing fee will be accessed. You must alsocancel the original order and place a new order, indicating the correct number of shipmentsfor that order.

Drop Ship: $5.00(x) per location.

Delivery Time: Pre-production sample: 5-7 working days on imports and domestics. Ordersafter a pre-production sample or without a pre-production sample: 8-10 days on imports and14-16 days on domestics.

Overruns and Underruns: Due to the difficulty in manufacturing exact shipments, 5% overor under quantities ordered must be considered fulfillment of order.

Sales representative is responsible for sample approvals in writing, prior to production. This is especially important on large orders.

SCREENED IMPRINTS

Imprint Areas: Suggested maximum size ad, full front or back location - 11” x 13”; maximumsize ad, left chest - 4” x 4”; maximum size ad, pocket imprint - 3.5” x 4”. Must specify size ofad desired on order - otherwise will use standard area.

Screens: $22.00(g) per color, per location on new orders and reorders with changes in art.Note: Youth shirts may require a separate screen.

CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS TO AN ORDER

All 7V orders must be processed through the Vernon Order department. Direct orders are notallowed.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

All orders for products are subject to availability. We assume no liability for non-fulfillmentcaused by inability to obtain materials, embargoes, strikes or other causes beyond ourcontrol. Overrun and underrun rules may apply.

CLAIMS

All claims must be made within 10 working days from the point of receipt of themerchandise. We recommend you do not wash or launder headwear. We will not acceptresponsibility for damages due to washing of caps.

TRADEMARKS

Many of the advertisers whose imprints appear on items in this catalog are Vernon Companycustomers; however, the trademark(s) featured are shown to indicate imprint capabilitiesand do not constitute endorsement.

To help insure your customer receives exactly what they want, use the following checklist to verify that you’ve included all of the necessary details on your order. This will also help preventquestions from the Order Department that can slow your order down, and you’ll have better records to use for future reference.

1) Item Number and Description: Make description as complete as possible.2) Item Color(s): Verify that the color or color combination you request is available for the item number being ordered.3) Decoration Color(s): Be Specific - provide a sample of the color, or you may reference PMS/Pantone# but these may not be exact match. We will match as close as possible.4) Decoration Location: Caps: Standard location is front, but an ad can be on the back and/or sides.

Apparel: Standard location is left chest, but decoration can be on the right chest, full front or back, above the pocket or on the sleeve. Location availability varies between screened and embroidery decoration. If not specified, standard location will be used.

5) Method of Decoration: Clearly note screened or embroidered decoration on your order. Check to be sure you’ve used the correct price for your chosen decoration method.6) Sizes: Caps: Stock caps are all One-Size-Fits-All sizing. Custom caps are available as One-Size-Fits-All (standard cut), XL cut, Ladies cut, or Youth cut. (Exception: Stretch-Fit Spandex

Twill, which offers two sizes). Unless otherwise noted, the standard One-Size-Fits-All sizing will be used. Apparel: Verify that the sizes desired are available for the item numberbeing ordered. You will also need to designate ‘x’ number of smalls, ‘y’ number of mediums, etc. when you are ordering various sizes of one item.

7) Applicable Extra Charges: Be sure to include charge for set-ups, additional decoration location or any other miscellaneous charges incurred on your order.8) Quoted Order: If you called in and requested a quote for special pricing which you are using on the order, make sure to note that this is ‘quoted’ pricing and who provided quote. 9) Repeat Order: On repeat orders with or without changes please indicate the previous order number.
