Il Nocino “Classic“
Characteristics
Liquer obtainer by steeping green walnut hulls in alcohol. With a rich and full-bo-died bouquet, Nocino is profoundly linked to the Modena food and wine tradition and represents a veritable symbol of hospitality.
Every year, in the month of June, as tra-dition prescribes, we take unripe green walnuts coming from the best walnut orchards in Italy and infuse them in al-cohol: the more succulent and tender the walnut, the better the infusion that will be optained.

Characteristics
We bottled Il Mallo Riserva Nocino for the first time in 1989 with the objective of creating a superior Nocino, aimed at particularly discerning consumers able to discover and appreciate the intensity of the unique sensations contained in an intense golden amber-coloured flow of walnut aromas and spicy scents.
Only from a harmonious blend of the best infusions, allowed to age for a minimum of 36 months, are we able to obtain that refined balance of character contained in Il Mallo Riserva Nocino.

RS is a vintage Riserva Nocino obtained from an infusion prepared in a single year. Every label is numered and rigo-rous control of this limited production is directly guaranteed by Giovanna Freno, who signs each bottle after controlling production.
Contained in an elegant decanter bottle enclosed in a hot screen-printed wooden box, RS is a product that should never be missing from the collection of lovers of Nocino di Modena.

il Bargnolino “Sloe berries Liqueur“
Characteristics
The intense red of an aperitif, the blue of wild sloe berries and the sweet taste of tradition: scents that reawaken the sen-ses and the pleasure of sharing.
A typical liqueur with a characteristic fruity flavour, obtained by soaking berries from the wild blackthorn (prunus spi-nosa). The blue-coloured fruit from this dark-leaved shrub, typical of the Emilian Apennines, is picked at the end of the summer when fully ripe and placed in an infusion with alcohol.

It has a wild flavour of herbaceous plants that grow spontaneously in the clayey soils of southern Italy and the elegant, glossy black color of the purest liquorice.
