PRICEDTOPERFECTION is the lone full sister to Miss Temple City, one of the best turf fillies of recent times. Miss Temple City made history by winning Keeneland’s two premier Grade 1 races for males--the Shadwell Turf Mile and Maker’s 46 Mile--becoming the first female to win either race, let alone both. An Eclipse Award finalist as the nation’s top grass female in 2016, she also won the G1 Matriarch and has earned over $1.6 million.
PRICEDTOPERFECTION was herself one of the best 3-year-old turf fillies of 2016. She won the G3 Sweetest Chant and hit the board in six of seven starts—all in Stakes or Graded Stakes competition. To complement this, Pricedtoperfection is a beautiful filly who was a physical standout at the OBS 2-year-old sale bringing $230,000 (Temple City 2016 2YO average was $70k) to Eclipse Champion trainer Chad Brown. At two, PRICEDTOPERFECTION notched an impressive three-length win that earned her a very strong 72 Beyer in a $75,000 Msw at Belmont. This was a tremendous result considering the strength of a field that included G3 winner My Impression, GSP Verbouwen and SP Module. She finished her 2-year-old campaign in the G1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf, finishing behind Champion Catch a Glimpse and G1 winners Alice Springs (Ire), Time And Motion, and Harmonize.

As expected, PRICEDTOPERFECTION returned as a top 3-year-old filly in 2016, running seven times from January to September, exclusively in Stakes or Graded Stakes company. What’s even more impressive is that she hit the board in all but the G1 Belmont Oaks where she was a close fourth beaten by G1W Catch a Glimpse, G1W Time And Motion and G3W Coolmore (IRE). Her biggest performance came at Gulfstream Park’s premier Championship meet in the G3 Sweetest Chant, where she overcame an awkward stretch run with an athletic move inside the 1/16th pole to win by ¾ length.

PRICEDTOPERFECTION ran a 9 Thoro-Graph as a 2-year-old, a truly ELiTE number that would have been a strong # in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. As a 3-year-old, she continued to take steps forward in each start with a very strong 7 at the end of her 3-year-old year.
