• She was a British writer who lived in the period of the regency . She was born in Steventon ( Hampshire ) and she is one of the classics of the English novel . Her family belonged to the bourgeousie , and that is why all her novels are belonged to that . Her most famouse works are :

• - Sense and Sensibility ( 1811 ).• - Pride and Prejudice ( 1813 ).• - Emma ( 1815 ).• - Persuasion ( 1818 ).

• Early in 1816, Jane Austen began to feel unwell. She ignored her illness at first and continued to work and to participate in the usual round of family activities. Austen's physical condition began a long, slow, and irregular deterioration culminating in her death the following year.

• Elizabeth “ Lizzy “ Bennet is a maiden woman , whose parents want her to marry , because of their social status . Bingley and his friend Mr.Darcy arrive to the neighborhood . Bingley and Jane ( one of the four sisters of Elizabeth ) fall in love , and Mr.Darcy and Lizzy hate each other because of their pride and prejudice . Collins ask Lizzy to marry him , but she rejects . And that is why , he marries Miss Lucas . After some months , Lizzy goes to visit them , and there , she meets Mr.Darcy , and he asks her for marriage , but she also rejects . And , some days later , he sends her a letter to say that all his feelings were falses . When Lizzy goes to Mr.Darcys house , she receives a letter of Jane , saying that Lydia escape with an official . And , when they find them , they all say them to marry . Finally , Mr.Darcy ask again for marry to Lizzy , and she accepts . And also , Lydia marries the official .

Elizabeth Bennet is the second sister of the Bennet family , being the favourite for hes father , but the less preferred for her mother . The names of her four sisters are : Jane , Mary , Catherine and Lydia .

Her live changes when Charles Bingley and his friend ( the vain and rich ) Fitzwilliam Darcy . She rejects him in a dance and she thinks he is a prepotent and a proud man . But , then , she realizes that he has done a lot to her family . And finally , they marry.

• Mr.Darcy , is the owner of Pemberley , a very beautiful property of Derbyshire . His parents are dead and his has got a ten years younger sister , Georgianna .

• Mr.Darcy meets the Bennet family , and , first he despises Elizabeth Bennet , but then , when he knows that she is funny and intelligent , he falls in love with her . So he has to choose between his fortune and his social status or the love of his life .
