Calling all embroiderers or wanna be embroiderers! Embroidery club just keeps getting better and better! You don’t have to own an embroidery machine or bring one to our club. This is a hands-on club featuring Anita Goodesigns. A video format presentation will showcase inspiring new projects and techniques for both the new embroiderer as well as the seasoned pro. Each quarterly club will feature a new project. You will receive a party pack each quarter with lots of different designs on it. We will be making one of the designs each month, and they will all go into a fun and exciting project. There will also be special promotions that will be different each month. Don’t miss out! Kaye England2 Day Workshop-TULSA$150

Come spend 2 days at our Tulsa, OK store learning from one of the best piecers this industry has!! If you want to have fun, learn lots and spend 2 days sewing then this is the workshop for you! Both days will begin at 10am with a lecture/trunk show. Kaye will show lots of colorful quilts and tell some very inspiring stories that will keep you in stitches all day long! You can choose from any of Kaye’s amazing projects to work on.

Workshop fees include: Lunch both days, afternoon snack, door prizes.

Come join us for a fun filled Fall Saturday road trip to Laura Ingalls Wilder Home in Mansfield, MO. Leave after first Saturday. Box lunch provided on the bus. Enjoy a guided tour of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s home in Mansfield and finish with time to shop in the gift shop! Get to touch and feel the new Laura Ingalls Wilder fabric line from Andover. We will also discuss different projects while on the bus. Arrive back home early evening.

Class ListClass Policy-The entire class fee is due at the time you register. If you must cancel a

class registration, you must notify us no later than one (1) week prior to the class date. NO EXCEPTIONS.-Class minimum is three (3) and the maximum is twelve (12), except

where noted.-If the class does not fill, or if we cancel the class, you will receive a full

refund or store credit, your choice.-Supplies are needed for almost all classes. The class fee covers

instruction only. You are responsible for picking up your supply list and coming prepared to class. Please have your supplies and fabric before the day of class so that you are prepared for the class to begin.-Copyright law requires that each student purchase his or her own

pattern required for the class. NO EXCEPTIONS.-You are welcome to use one of our shop machines during class. Please

let us know when you register and plan to come to class a few minutes early so that you can become familiar with the machine. There is a $2 bobbin fee and we ask you to supply your needles.

beginner quilters, and is a great follow-up to QUILTING 101. In 3 sessions, learn to chain blocks using 4-patches and 9-patches, and master traditional pinwheel blocks using half-square triangles and flying geese. Supply list.

BASIC BINDINGS - Kathy Kansier$24 + booklet feeFriday, Oct 16, 11a-3pThis is a great class to learn how to finish the edges of your quilts. Both

beginner and advanced quiltmakers will learn useful information in this class. Each student will bring a 15” block or wall hanging that is ready for binding. Kathy will teach how to make a continuous binding, miter corners, connect the binding tails and finish the binding with hand or machine stitches. Supply list. Booklet required

Your project will be Block #6 (Spring Gathering) from Kathy’s book, Ozark Varieties. It may become a pillow, wallhanging, or the start of your first full-size appliqué quilt. Kathy teaches all about needles, thread, notions, and fabric choices. She will give you great tips for making perfect circles, sharp points, and smooth inner and outer curves. typed appraisal includes a description and history of the quilt, photos, and appraisal value. An Appraisal is proof of your quilt's value for your insurance company and makes a nice addition to a quilt you are giving as a gift. Each appointment takes 30 minutes, and you will schedule a separate appointment for each quilt you are having appraised.
