PVP Saturday 4th August 2018 : 6pm – Midnight PVP Sunday 5th August 2018 : 3pm – 9pm This is when outside music and entertainment starts and fi nishes.

Road Closure TimesRoads will be closed to vehicle movement at 10am on Saturday 4th August. Pedestrians have unrestricted access to the area until midday, after which wristbands or access cards will be required and shown to security when accessing via a road that has been closed.

Access Access in and out of the area for residents to your garages, allocated parking areas and underground parking may be requested after 10:00am. Please ask the steward on your road to help you with this they will make sure it is safe to move the vehicle in or out of the area. This will be facilitated where and when it is safe to do so. Please email pvp@brighton-pride.org with any advance vehicle access requirements or ask the steward on your road.

Security Police security barriers will be installed from Friday and will remain in situ until very early on Monday morning.

Bag searching when entering the PVP area will apply to everyone this year (including residents) so we ask

for your cooperation. This is being put in place as a safety measure to safeguard all.

We advise residents where possible to use side roads to enter and leave the area rather than the main PVP entrances. Dorset Gardens and Chapel St will provide you with quieter roads to access St James St and then onto Marine Parade.

Main Entrances 1. Marine Parade Aquarium Roundabout 2. St James St West junction with Old Steine 3. St James St East, junction with New Steine

Sound/Noise Pride will engage a music zone manager who will work as part of the team, they will monitor sound levels at all partner venues during the hours of the PVP and will liaise directly with venue management where sound levels are considered to be too high.
