The Birth of Isaac Peral
Isaac Thomás José María Segundo, (Isaac Peral) was born in Cartagena in 1851, in Zorrilla street.
He had two brothers in the navy : Pedro (1849-1897)
and Manuel (1862-1900).

His mother and his father
His mother was called Isabel Caballero,
she was from Cartagena.
His father Juan Manuel Peral was from San Fernando.
His family often moved around Spain because
his father was in the navy.

His work
● He started to wear the uniform of the navy when he was 8 years old because his mother tried to encourage him to join the navy.
● He did join the navy at 14 years of age in 1865.

His wife and his children
His wife was called Maria del Carmen Cencio.
They had 3 children ; 2 sons and 1 daughter.

His Death After a medical intervention to cure the brain
tumor he had been suffering from for some years, Peral contracted meningitis. He died from it in Berlin in May 1895.

In our opinion, Isaac Peral died very young In spite of his political problems, he didn´t give up. He was persistent and courageous. He was very clever, a good discoverer and a great Spaniard. Thanks, Isaac.
