Look at leaflets and posters from tourist offices online. Read and discuss their leaflets, expressing a view on their effectiveness. Consider how successfully the materials would attract a visitor of their age to their local area. Make useful notes about ways of improving their appeal to a younger audience.

ART - LO: to evaluate and analyse creative works.

Write a personal review of a piece of urban art. Review famous artworks of great artists and ones created through the project, using photographs to illustrate points and reflections.

Note: Ask the children a range of questions to help them focus their evaluations such as ‘What can you tell me about your art? What inspired your idea for this? What do you like about your work? What do you want other people to think or feel when they look at your work?’

Today you are writing your own acrostic poem about Banksy, urban art or graffiti. Remember to use your year 3 toolkit to help with your writing and please feel free to take a picture and share with me to read and offer some feedback.Year 3 toolkit remember to include in your writing

Use of prepositions. Use a or an correctly. Use prefixes and suffixes. Spell homophones correctly. Spell Year 3 spellings correctly. Use neat and joined handwriting. Write in paragraphs.
