To explore how traditional 2D art can be directly adapted to the virtualworld of Second Life by different SL artists. Primtings presents innova-tions in virtual world avant-garde art with each exhibit adding more thanjust a new 3rd dimension, but often also interactivity, and interpretationsonly possible in the virtual world, as envisioned by a range of master newmedia artists.

residents, in a uniquely SL-way. Primtings educates its visitors in both RLart and SL artistic techniques, through informative kiosks associated witheach exhibit and Primtings.com website content.

Thousands of SL residents have experienced Primtings since itsfounding in 2008all through word of mouth!

RL Schools from K-12 to higher education have brought theirstudents and faculty to Primtings, through computer lab activi-ties, on-screen presentations, and extracurricular assignments.
