Walk-A-Thon is Lincoln School’s largest fundraiser! Each year, students are
encouraged to raise money in support of Lincoln’s PTO!
On Friday, September 28th, our school will conduct the our 9th annual Walk-A-Thon!
Your student should have brought home their fundraising packets which needs to be returned to school no later than Friday, Sept. 21st!
All funds raised this year will go towards the purchase of lockers for our 5th graders; benches outside of
the gym and a portable coat rack for our Lincoln guests. Most importantly, these fundraising monies will be used to help continue to support and fund our current PTO programs at Lincoln School!
These programs include teacher classroom requests, Artistic Adventures, Mystery Science, Family Fun
Events, Junior Achievement, Technology purchases and maintenance, Carnival and SO MUCH more! Last
year, through your generosity we raised $38,700! Our 2018-19 goal is to raise at least $40,000 in order to
purchase these new items and keep our current PTO programs available!
Each year, we look to local businesses, many of whom are our Lincoln School families to help sponsor our
Walk-A-Thon efforts! We are asking for your thoughtful consideration in becoming a Walk-A-Thon sponsor.
As a sponsor, your logo is placed on our Walk-A-Thon t-shirts that are given out to every Lincoln School
student and staff member. Again this year, your sponsorship will count toward your child(ren)’s fundraising levels and prize incentives and as always, all donations are 100% tax deductible! If you are
interested in becoming a sponsor, the Walk-A-Thon Sponsorship form in on the next page! THANK YOU!
