KASA is to engage KASS and KSBA in the development work of a unified set of superintendent standards and evaluation procedures and the three organizations are to work together to finalize the superintendent effectiveness system.

By December 2013, local boards and superintendents are to work together to incorporate the three delivery artifacts into their current superintendent evaluation process and document a discussion of the artifacts in local board minutes.

By December 2014, local boards are to adopt the new superintendent effectiveness system or a locally developed system meeting the same criteria that will become effective in the 2015-16 school year.
