Since the last meeting
Received applications to the LECC and invited members to the most recent TMB before their formal appointments.
The perimeter fence is nearing completion and a third access point has been agreed to accommodate students coming from across Priory Park.
Improved communication channels to school with key staff email addresses added to the website.
We have moved period 5 detentions to the next day to allow more notice for parents and carers in order to make collection provision if required. This will be in place until the clocks change.

Behaviour points can be given for a range of reasons.
Homework behaviour points decreased dramatically in the upper year groups as theAutumn Term went on. As expected, Year 11 have found the new expectations harder tomeet as they have been at the school under a different system for the longest period oftime.
We are pleased that only a small number of students have been picked up for notmeeting our uniform policy or for forgetting part or all of their PE kit.
The C2 totals on the following slides show the number of students who have been placedin a detention in each year group and overall.
The final C3 column shows the numbers of students who were isolated during the schoolday at some point in the Autumn Term. Again, this figure reduced during the term as thenew system embedded.
Why are behaviour points given?

The next two slide shows the breakdown of behaviour points and achievement pointsgiven out per subject.
As some subjects see students more often than others, particularly Maths, English andScience, it is expected that totals will be higher than in subjects that perhaps only seestudents once a week in lower school and then only teach one or two groups at GCSE. Tomake a fair comparison, the final three columns show firstly the percentage ofbehaviour/achievement points given out compared to other subjects, secondly thepercentage share of curriculum time that each subject has and finally the differencebetween these two figures.
A minus figure shows fewer behaviour/achievement points being given out compared toother subjects and a positive figure shows more. The variance is very small which showswe are achieving a good level of consistency across subjects.
