PRINT SCREENS OF SHOTS FOR OUR TRAILER

I felt that this clip wouldn’t work as the character had her back towards the audience and we wanted the audience to see the chain which is symbolic as it is the main symbol in our trailer.

This clip is blurry, therefore we do not want to use it in our trailer as we aim for all of our shots to be sharp.

This is a sinister shot which I believe I could use in the trailer as she meets the stereotypical aspects of a villain with the blood which is iconography. Also the sense of the ‘unknown’ or the ‘other.

I believe that this shot could have worked in our trailer, however the villains hand is in the shot which gives away the action as audience already suspect what is going to happen.

We intend to use this shot in our trailer as it gives a sense of tension as the victim is laying on the sofa. They do not know whether she’s dead or alive.

You can see the characters shoes in these shots which doesn’t look very professional as she is supposed to be a dead person. The best image would be if she looked as if she’s just come back from the dead with no shoes on.

I really like this shot and intend to use it in my trailer as it is sinister and shot from a low angle which connotes dominance and authority the villain has.

I think that this shot is effective and could work in our horror trailer as it is shot at night time which links to the typical horror genre as no one is around to save the victim or hero.

This is the chase scene in our horror trailer which is an eerie area which connotes violence.
