Acrobat PDF (preferred option) High resolution PDFs, preferably using our job options (PDF job options can be supplied to you) otherwise a press optimised PDF. All links must be high resolution and fonts embedded. Cropmarks are required, offset by 5mm.

InDesign All text must be converted to outlines and links embedded or supplied. All colour must be CMYK (no spot colours) and links saved as CMYK (not RGB) at 300dpi.

Illustrator All text must be converted to outlines. All files must be exported as an EPS with all links saved as TIF or JPG.

Photoshop All supplied images must be saved as grayscale or CMYK and resolution must be at least 300dpi.

Publisher/Powerpoint These files are not suitable for supplying prepared adverts and cannot be accepted.

Word Only suitable for supplying text to go within your advert.

Cropmarks are required for ALL publications, offset by 5mm.

NZ Dairy Exporter and Country-Wide are perfect bound (square) bound magazines.When creating your inside front cover DPS, please take care when placing text and observe the live type areas specified,so your critical elements are not too close to the spine or the edges of the pages. This will ensure nothing will be lost when the magazine is glued together and trimmed.

If your images travel across the centre of the binding area they will line up nicely if you follow the guide lines below. Actual size = 2 pages x 297mm x 210mm (A4) or 1 DPS pages x 297 x 420mm (A3) + 5mm bleed on all sides Cropmarks and page information must be offset 5mm (outside bleed).We recommend you treat the live type area as per the diagram below

For your image to line up when bound:Stage 1. Move your image on the inside front cover to the left 7mm Stage 2. Move your image on the first text page to the right 7mm THIS MEANS THE IMAGE WILL REPEAT IN THE MIDDLE - but then will line up when bound,because 7mm is lost in the binding. To ensure correct placement please supply [email protected] with both:• an A3 PDF showing how the complete printed file should look• the file split into two A4 pages for placement.

Once the creative has been made, create a click event on the stage:Click the {} icon on the stage layer. A window will open.Click the + on the top left corner and choose ‘Click’ from the drop down menu.Insert the following code in the text field that appears.

You can then publish your file. Make sure you tick ‘Host runtime files on Adobe CDN’ otherwise your ad will not show once uploaded to DoubleClick.

When you have the file you should have a new folder created in the source folder called ‘publish’. Open this folder and another folder will appear called ‘web’. Open this folder and find the .html file. Open this file in a text editor or a code editor application to edit the code.

Now you can save this file.

Go back to the publish folder. Now compress/zip the ‘web’ folder. Name this with your ad number and company name.

Note: Ensure your creative does not use .svg files as DoubleClick does not support these and the creative will not show. Please use .jpgs and .png files.

If you want to check if your creative will be accepted before you send it to us, you can upload it to this website https://h5validator.appspot.com/dcm and you will get a report of what could cause an issue. If unsure, send the .zip file through to [email protected] and we can take a look.
