Surfacemarks can easily bepolished off.

Chromium PlatedFittingsClean regularly with asoft cloth and warmsoapy water or mild detergent, rinse, dryand polish with a cleansoft cloth. Do not usehousehold cleanserscontaining abrasives orchemicals. Dripping tapswill waste water andmay cause stains - it is a simple matter toreplace the seatingwasher. Faultyequipment should berepaired or replacedimmediately.

WC Seats Clean daily with warmsoapy water (a littledisinfectant may be added) rinse and drywith a soft cloth.Do not allow WCcleansers or strongbleaches to come into contact with plastics

Vitreous ChinaArmitage ShanksVitreous China is awhite clay body which is vitrified andpermanently fused witha vitreous glazedsurface. It is stain-proof, burn-proof, rot-proof,rustless, non-fading and resistant to acids andalkalis, in accordancewith BS3402:1969. The 99.5% vitreosityensures that evenunglazed, it cannotbecome contaminatedby bacteria and germsand will always remainhygienic. Vitreous Chinais very hard wearing andis guaranteed againstcrazing.Maintenance required isnormally confined tosurface cleaning with a mild detergent orsoap solution. Dry witha soft cloth. Stubborn grease or dirtcan be easily removedwith a mild liquid cleanser. Regular daily cleaningwill minimise the risk ofencrustation caused by lime deposits.

FireclayThe thickness andweight of fireclay givefixtures great strength and resistance to impactand thermal shock.Fireclay fixtures aretherefore particularlysuitable for anti-vandalinstallations.The vitreous ceramicglaze is guaranteed
