Dr Kathryn Hutt is the newly appointed Medical Director at the Doctors’ Health Advisory Service (NSW/ACT). Kathryn is also a part-time general practitioner in Mona Vale, Sydney, and also has many years’ prior experience providing regular fly-in GP services to rural and remote communities across NSW. She also previously worked for many years with the Medical Council of NSW, and has a good understanding of the regulatory processes in NSW, guidelines about mandatory reporting and issues relating to impaired practitioners and complaints about doctors. Kathryn is passionate about the wellbeing of her colleagues and ensuring that all doctors and medical students have access to support. Dr Andrew Zuschmann Vice President, AMA (NSW)

Dr Andrew Zuschmann has a commitment to teaching and the development of a sustainable workforce. He is a Staff Specialist at Sutherland and St George Hospitals, with a private practicein Miranda. Dr Zuschmann is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and Fertility Specialist. He graduated from the University of NSW in 1996 and completed specialist training in 2005.

Dr Andrew PickeringAMA (NSW) member

Dr Pickering is a partner in the Northern Beaches largest and longest-running specialist Women’s Health Practice. Dr Pickering has been a doctor for nearly 20 years and has spent most of those years working in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Obgyn), working to ensure every woman he cares for and family he assists get the best, evidence-based, care available. Dr Pickering is currently a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney and Notre Dame University. Dr Michael BonningChair AMA (NSW) Council

Dr Michael Bonning is a GP working in private practice and academic medicine in Sydney on the implementation of new models of preventative health care. He is a former full-time medical officer in the Royal Australian Navy and uses the skills he learnt there as the Chief Medical Officer of an expedition and wilderness medicine organisation.He has served on a number of health-related boards including GP Synergy, beyondblue, the Federal AMA, and AMSA.

Annabel RafteryPolicy and Workplace Relations Advisor, AMA (NSW)

Annabel is a policy advisor with a background in public health. She has worked exclusively in health and have unique insight into the NSW system.
