Sustainability Prize
at
EARTH University, Costa Rica
During a Marathon 18 hours of lectures on the “Five Core Principles of Sustainability”, Dr. Michael Ben-Eli, founder of the Sustainability Laboratory, launched the annual
sustainability prize program at EARTH University. Over 80
participating fourth year students were divided in two
groups, each meeting for a full day.
The first annual prize of $10,000 which has been funded by
the Lab, will be awarded during graduation ceremonies, on
December 2009, to a graduation project which best
embodies the Lab's Sustainability Principles. The program
is developed in collaboration with Professors Bert Kohlmann
and Irene Alvarado at EARTH.
