Mehrdad Nazari ESIA & Sustainability Advisor

Mehrdad has over 20 years of professional experience, including as Principal

Environmental Specialist at the European Bank, Project Manager with Dames & Moore (now URS), and Head of CSR Research at CoreRatings (now DNV). Mehrdad delivered the first GRI-certified training program in North America. He supports mining companies with environmental and social studies. Mehrdad has also assisted numerous organizations, ranging from a junior diamond producer to the World Bank, with their stakeholder engagement, sustainability reporting and assurance needs. Mehrdad holds an MBA and MSc, and is also a licensed assurance provider.

Peter Easton Water Risk & Sustainability Advisor

Peter has 25 years international experience in water and

environmental assessment and management including Water Resources Manager for Coca-Cola Europe, and Water & Environment Director at Zenith International consultancy. Peter is a GRI (G4) certified reporting consultant. His recent experience in GRI reporting includes Centerra Gold, listed in Canada, and Kumtor Gold, based in the Kyrgyz Republic. Peter holds an BSc in Geophysics, and an MSc in Hydrogeology, and is based in Brussels.

Petrus Gildenhuys Senior Sustainability Reporting & Assurance Practitioner

Petrus has 20 years of experience gained as a Principal Consultant

with ERM and Associated Director at PwC. He has been involved in over 100 advisory, assurance and compliance related consulting projects of which over 50 were independent sustainability assurance engagements. Petrus’ experience with mining companies include Lucara Diamond, Lundin Mining, Royal Bafokeng Platinum, FirstRand, Northam Platinum, Anglo American, AngloGold Ashanti, Harmony, Sasol, Anglo Platinum, Anglo Coal, Kumba Iron Ore, Northam Platinum, and Gold Fields. Petrus is a Lead Certified Sustainability Assurance Practitioner (LCSAP) and licensed AA1000AS sustainability assurance provider. Petrus holds an MBA, BLarch, and BSc, and is based in South Africa.
