When we walk in the hallway, we have to be considerate of other students who are trying to learn.

Quiet voices should be used. Just like cars on a road, we will

travel in a single file line on the right side of the hall.

Read AloudRead Aloud After lunch, you should get any needed

supplies and sit at your desk. I will read aloud to you for 20-25

minutes. This is a silent time, but you may draw

quietly at your own desk. No one should get out of their seat

while I am reading. This is my favorite time of day! Listen to

the story and let it take you away.

Classroom BehaviorClassroom Behavior I know that it is going to be a great year and I

want to have ways to reward you for following our two class rules:

1. Respect everyone’s right to learn. 2. Treat others the way you want to be

treated. As a class- I can reward you with marbles. Our

goal is to fill up the marble jar and have a party.

Things I might give you marbles for: The majority of the class is ready to learn. We get a compliment in the hallway. Everyone brings back homework or a note on time.
