Process description: ESP as a plant
The process of the „classical execution with external service providers (ESP) exists between an OEM, the supplier and an ESP. Call from the OEM are processed into the sales scheduling agreement at the ESP and forwarded iva the MM purchasing scheduling agreement to the „shipping plant“. There, they are the basis for the MRP and the shipment to the ESP stock. The ESP is a separate „plant“ in the SAP-ERP-system.
From the ESP
Goods receipt messages
Withdrawal messages
Stock messages
could be received/transmitted. The goods receipt message serves as a matching of the ESP-fill-up and is the basis for the reflection of transit stock. Based on the “withdrawal message”, the inventory in the ESP-stock is reduced and the invoice to the OEM is created.
The “stock message” is used to synchronize the inventory situation.
