Processing informationThe tube system for high-pressure applications
Inairconditioning/refrigeration,andinparticularintheareaofcommercialorindustrialrefrigerationsystems,moreandmoreecology-orientedconceptsarebeingimplemented,withthefocusbeingonefficiencyandenvironmentallyfriendlyrefrigerants.
The use of the natural refrigerant CO2 (R744)leadstohigheroperatingpressures,particularlyintranscriticaloperation.ThenewK65system,consistingoftubesandfittings, isparticularlysuitedtotheseapplications.
K65isahigh-strengthcopperalloyandenablessimple,safeandeconomical installationof refrigerationsystemswithoperationpressuresofupto120bar(otherpressure levelsonrequest).
BoththetubesandthefittingsoftheK65systemareTÜV-certifiedand,therefore,meettherequirementsoftheEuropeanPressureEquipmentDirective97/23/EC.
K65tubesandK65fittingsareclearlymarked,sothatthesystemcomponentscanbeeasilyidentifiedatalltimes.
Your benefits of using K65:
•Cost reduction and improved handling due to weight reduction•Excellentheattransfercharacteristics•Knownanduser friendlyprocessing technologies (e.g. brazing)•Existingprocessesandequipmentcanbeused•Clearidentificationofthesystemcomponents•TÜV-certified
Applications
•Airconditioningandrefrigeration,heating,non-hazardous refrigerants,inparticulartherefrigerantCO2(R744).
•Furthermediaarepossibleafterconsultationwiththe manufacturer.
