FEATUREBEAMFeature Beam is a highly adaptable metalpressing which will enhance the appearance ofany building façade.

Metalline's continuous investment into innovativemanufacturing processes has led to the development of anew architectural feature. Feature Beam can be used inconjunction with most curtain walling and cladding systemsto provide a unique exterior finish to any building.

Feature Beam is an Aluminium or Stainless Steel Pressingwhich is available in a variety of metallic or plain colours.These include polyester powder coated, anodised orpolished.

Various details can be incorporated to meet clientspecifications, including mitred and welded corners, toprovide visually sharp lines. Where horizontal and verticalruns meet, complex cruciforms can also be created whichadd further aesthetic appeal to a building.

Feature Beam, unlike conventional structural steel beams,is not restricted by size, weight or excessive cost. It issimple to install, will not rust and is virtually maintenancefree. Designed to complement most curtain wallingsystems, it provides a unique visual relief between largerglazed areas.

Rainscreen panels offer protection to a building’s externalfaçade whilst also enabling designers to enhance the lookand feel of both new build and refurbishment projects.

Panels with associated carriers, bracketry and supportsystems are designed to allow the correct flow of ventilationand drainage run off in line with current building regulations.Rainscreen panels can be supplied in panel lengths up to6000mm and finished in anodised or polyester powdercoated finishes in an extensive range of colours.

FASCIA PANELS &SOFFITSMetalline has perfected the art ofmanufacturing a range of fascia panels andsoffits that provide both an aesthetic finishand weather proof seal for a range of exteriorenvironments.

Fascias and Soffits are generally fabricated from 3mmaluminium and can be produced to your exactspecification with either an anodised finish to the fullAnolok range or polyester powder coated in most RALand metallic colours. Fascia and Soffit panels can alsoincorporate an insulation core to significantly improvethermal insulation – keeping the building interior warm inwinter and cool in summer.

ULTIMAINSULATED PANELSMetalline’s Ultima Architectural Panel has beenspecified on many prestigious façades over thepast 25 years.

It can be adapted to fit a variety of facade details and canalso be glazed into a standard curtain walling system orstructural glazing system.

The external and internal facing material is more commonlyrequested in aluminium, with either an anodised finish inNatural Silver, Bronzes from light to dark, Black,Regency Gold 1 & 2 and specialist Anolok II Blue-Grey and Stone-Grey colours.

Alternatively it can be finished in a polyester powder coatingin a variety of RAL and metallic colours.

Ultima Panels can also be provided with alternative facingssuch as perforated aluminium, brushed stainless steel, orpatterned copper.

Research and DevelopmentMetalline’s commitment to R&D has seen it become thefirst UK fabricator to be able to manufacture 6000mmx 2000mm panels.

Thermal PerformanceAdvice on how to meet specific U values to comply withthermal performance requirements can be given by ourtechnical team.

Fire PerformanceA key requirement for many projects is fire resistance.The Ultima Panel has been independently tested toBS476 for fire performance at The Warrington FireResearch Centre, with fire ratings including 30/30 and60/60. A selection of specific facings and corematerials can be incorporated, many of which can besupplied with the required fire retardant properties.

Environmental PerformanceBREEAM is the world’s foremost environmentalassessment method and has become one of the mostwidely recognised measures of a building’senvironmental performance. Metalline supplies a rangeof A rated insulation materials to suit a variety ofspecifications.

Acoustic PerformanceUltima panels can be specified to meet specific acousticperformance criteria. Using insulation cores tested byThe Sound Research laboratory Metalline can producepanels for most environments. They have beensuccessfully specified on buildings in high noise areassuch as airports, city centres and industrialenvironments.

Bonding and Structural PerformanceIndependently tested by Wintech Engineering, all metalfacings are pressure bonded to the insulation core usingan adhesive which can withstand temperatures -40oC to140oC.

At Metalline we have a back catalogue ofextensive designs and drawings to help specifiers anddesigners achieve the finish they require. SECRET FIXCOPINGSMetalline has produced a wide variety of copingsthat provide protection from the elements for abuilding’s structure and are an attractive andweatherproof option for parapets and perimeterwalls.

Copings generally feature a hidden fixing system thatprovides a secure mounting of the pressings withoutaffecting the visual line. Metalline’s secret fix coping isavailable in a standard mill finish, full anodised Anolok rangeor polyester powder coated to most RAL and metalliccolours.
