POWERTRONICS Powered Solutions

The DPS3000 comes fully-loaded with an industry-leading feature set designed around a single custom Ferro resonant transformer. The DPS3000 provides seamless power transfer to support digital data, telephony and other mission-critical services. Advanced dual microprocessor technology handles the transfer control processes between input AC line power and battery power. This controls the inverter by monitoring data flow to and from the user interfaces and the transponder.

When the AC input voltage waveform drops below a predetermined threshold, proprietary POWERTRONICS software transfers power from line to battery and starts the inverter. This system avoids frequency step down and minimizes the voltage transient on the output transformer by engaging the inverter at the appropriate level.

• Inverter efficiency rating is improved by 85% increasing the runtime of the battery and reducing the cooling requirements

• Auto 115/220 VAC selection is programmed to detect a change in the input voltage and auto-configure to correspond new input

• Convection cooled (fan-less) chassis to increase Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), improving the efficiency of the inverter

• Auxiliary fan output jack located on the front panel of the unit offers the option to add a cabinet cooling fan

• Advanced HMS transponder interface features a backlit LCD screen allowing the user to easily interface with the machine

Standard Features

• Excellent operating temperature range from -40º C to +60º C

• Available in 60/90, 60/72, or 72/90 volt configurations which can be built for 6, 9, 12 or 15 Amps

• Hot-swappable modular design simplifies serviceability of Power Module and Inverter Module

• Designed around a single custom Ferro resonant transformer, providing seamless transfer between line power and standby mode to support digital data, telephony and other mission critical services

• Patented, industry leading smart-charging system software and built-in equalizer extends battery life

• All connections and built-in test points are located on the front panel

• Temperature-compensated 10A battery charging system

• Battery temperature probe, power and accessory cords are included with the unit Color-coded battery connections

Advanced Options

• An N+4 redundancy configuration allows for the power supply modules (N) to have multiple backup power supply modules (+4) to share the load should one module in the system fail. The working modules share the load without degrading the integrity of the system

• Internal or external status monitoring transponders available in standard configurations
