This includes the Colonnades in St. Peter’s Square in Rome, the Colossi of Memnon in Egypt (you really have to know your stuff when cleaning massive statues over 3,300 years old!) and the heads of the presidents on Mount Rushmore. We are happy to take on any challenge – no matter the size! We have made cleaning our sole focus. This has enabled us to expertly craft the right solution for any project, from residential areas to construction sites to the Statue of Liberty.

Mount RushmoreKärcher cooperated with the National Park Service to clean the presidents’ heads on Mount Rushmore in South Dakota. The restorative cleaning work was carried out as part of our commitment to cleaning and preserving the world's greatest monuments. We helicoptered pressure washers, water and supplies to the top of the monument, then suspended the cleaning crew to remove lichen, algae, moss and other organic stains that could corrode the underlying rock. The massive project started on Independence Day, July 4, 2005, and was completed a few weeks later in early August.

DAKAR2015 was our fourth year cleaning the vehicles as an official supplier at Rally Dakar. We also sponsored the KTM and Mini’s Monster Energy Rally Raid Teams.

We set up cleaning stations along the almost 5,600 mile route, where all teams were able to clean their vehicles using our pressure washers. About 2,500 racing and support vehicles were washed along the route. This assistance demonstrated the effectiveness of Kärcher systems, even under tough, challenging conditions.

We also demonstrated our leadership as a company committed to environmental issues. Kärcher high-pressure cleaners use up to 80% less water than cleaning with a garden hose. Additionally, the water used at the stations was collected and recirculated.
