The Inertia Driven® System was originally developed

for Benelli semi-auto shotguns more than 40 years

ago. Without ever needing adjusting, this system

utilizes the energy from recoil to cycle anything from

light fi eld loads to heavy magnums with consistent

reliability, year after year. There are Benelli shotguns

that have fi red over 500,000 rounds that are still

functioning perfectly today. The Inertia Driven®

System is simple with only three primary parts: the

bolt body, the inertia spring and the rotating bolt

head. Because gas, smoke and burnt powder residue

are expelled out of the barrel, rather than being

channeled into the gun’s mechanism, Benelli guns

shoot cleaner than any other shotgun. This allows

them to be much easier to maintain, increasing

reliability. With no springs, action bar linkage, or

heavy gas cylinder under the forend, Benelli semi-

autos balance perfectly.

When everything is on the line, only the best will do.

The M4, originally developed as the U.S. Joint Service

Combat shotgun in 1998, is a gas-operated semi-

automatic 12-gauge shotgun that features Benelli’s

patented self-cleaning, auto-regulating gas operating

system (A.R.G.O.). The M4 metalwork is chrome-

plated, anodized or coated with heavy phosphate to

prevent rust and corrosion under the most grueling

conditions. The fore-end and pistol grip are constructed

of a tough synthetic polymer material for an absolute

positive grip in wet or dry conditions. The telescoping

aluminum buttstock can be retracted for convenient

portability or storage. The extended magazine will

hold seven 23/4-inch shells or six 3-inch magnum shells.

Assembly and disassembly is quick and easy and can be

accomplished without tools.

The Vinci Tactical features a factory-fi tted Picatinny rail

that is on top of the receiver, which allows easy and fast

mounting of optics.

The Vinci is fast and easy to load and unload with the oversized, Dual-Purpose Release Lever, even with gloves. To load, place a round in the ejection port and merely depress the Dual-Purpose Release Lever to chamber a shell.

The M3 is a unique semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun that

is reliable and versatile for any operational or defensive

requirement. The M3 allows offi cers the option of choosing

either semi-auto or pump-action operation, depending on

the intended purpose. It’s easy to select fast-cycling semi-

auto fi re with conventional loads or you can chose pump-

action for low-energy special purpose loads. Switching

between semi-auto and pump-action is simple—merely

rotate the selector ring at the front of the forend ¼-turn

then push forward to change from pump-action to semi-

auto or pull back to switch from semi-auto to pump-action

and then release the selector. The M3 comes with ghost

ring sights and night sights are available. The stock is

constructed of a tough synthetic polymer, and is available

with a collapsible telescoping buttstock that can be

adjusted in fi ve positions, while maintaining full function.

The SuperNova, conceived and designed in 2005,

embodies a modular construction with a lightweight

steel skeletal framework over-molded with a high-

tech polymer, making this pump-action shotgun

super-light, super-strong and impervious to all

weather conditions. The SuperNova will reliably

fi re and cycle a variety of shotshells, including

everything from target loads to 3½ʺ-Magnums. The SuperNova is available with a choice of three

modular buttstocks and can be quickly reconfi gured.

The buttstock options include the Pistol Grip,

ComforTech®, and a telescoping stock, which makes

transport in any type of vehicle easy. An easily

accessible mag-stop button on the forend makes it

possible to extract a cartridge from the SuperNova’s

chamber while leaving the other cartridges in place

in the magazine. This handy feature enables you to

quickly remove a shotshell from the chamber and

re-chamber a different shotshell, all without having to

unload the magazine. Benelli’s Nova and SuperNova

are the only pump-action shotguns available on the

represents an important breakthrough in the

fi eld of pump-action shotguns, thanks to

Benelli’s technological experience and precision

engineering. The one-piece stock and receiver is

injection-molded and made from a high-strength

synthetic polymer material that’s been reinforced

with fi berglass. This makes the Nova completely

impervious to humidity, abrasion, shock and this

rugged gun can even withstand the effects of

solvents and chemical products. Comprised of

a minimum number of parts, the Nova’s manual
