INFRA Field Monitoring System
Data is transmitted with GSM/GPRS at preset schedule or when an event takes place. Data is automatically sent to NCVIB over the Internet and an alarm can be sent as an SMS to selected individuals. The system can be remotely controlled over the Internet. The automated transfer of measurement data gives large savings in working hours. The datalogger also has a CompactFlash card for local storage of data.INFRA sensors are easily connected with a digital bus cable. The cable meets the requirement of IP67, an international standard for outdoor use.
INFRA has automatic two way communication
A complete system for autonomous monitoring of building vibration, comfort vibration, outdoor and indoor sound level, air blast, crack displacement, inclination, caused by:
- Blasting
- Construction works
- Road and railroad traffic
INFRA consists of a datalogger and digital sensors
A datalogger with internal battery stores data and communicates. There is a large number of available sensor types and up to 16 channels can be connected to one datalogger.

It is easy to use the database to view detailed events, bargraphs and create high quality reports directly in PDF format.
The INFRA sensors measures bargraph continously, and can simultaneously record detailed events with high sampling frequency.
INFRA has an efficient report handling function
The vibration sensors use digital signal processing and can measure according to valid national and international standards. Due to the fact that the signal processing is done through software makes it easy to add new standards or modify existing ones. The sensors can easily be switched from one standard to another.
INFRA handles many standards SS 460 48 66 Blasting 250 mm/s 5-300 Hz SS 460 48 61 Comfort 20 mm/s RMS 1 sec DIN 4150-2 KB 20 mm/s RMS 0.125 sec 1-80 Hz DIN 4150-3 Anlage 250 mm/s 1-315 Hz ISEE Seismograph BS 7385 NS 8141 AS 2187.2 –2006 .....
The INFRA system allows the user to combine static sensors and dynamic sensors that sample data with up to 100 kHz. For example it is possible to measure vibration, sound level and crack displacement on the same datalogger.
INFRA handles both static and dynamic sensors
NCVIB provides a web based presentation of the work site, including a map, measurement data, measuring points and blasts and sensors

INFRA E60 Dust monitor
Digital dust monitor for continous outdoor monitoring of dust in air
The INFRA system is used to monitor construction activities, rock blasting, train
traffic, road traffic, vibration in buildings etc.
During excavation, crushing and demolition dust particles occur which are detrimental to health. Operation of trains, subways, buses, trucks and other vehicles will also give rise to harmful dust. E60 is a complete monitoring station for continuous monitoring of particulates in the air. It can be directly connected to Sigicoms INFRA-measuring system with ready-made solutions for data communications, database on the internet and web presentation of measurement data. - Measures the concentration of particles with size from 0.1 um to 10 um - Measuring range 0.001 to 400 mg/m3 - Measures and adjusts for temperature- and humidity-variations The measurement is based on a very well established and safe technology. It has a built-in pump that draws in air to a calibrated optical detector. Output is digital and is transmitted directly to a connected INFRA Mini/Master. This provides a continuous measurement with the opportunity to identify the level of dust concentration. In the INFRA system it is possible to trigger an alarm light and/or to send SMS when the dust level is above a preset level.

Software
NCVIBWeb based project databaseNCVIB is a web based system that makes the results of vibration measurements more useable. The system registers vibrations and airborne shock-waves and presents the measured results together with other parameters such as temperature, noise, stresses and groundwater levels.
NCVIB remotely collects data from the measuring equipment and presents it on the web. This eliminates the journeys, work, time and costs associated with the reading off of instruments, the transferring of measured data to a computer, the fi nding of suitable application programs, paper handling, data distribution and archiving.
With NCVIB the blaster receives up-to-the-minute information about the vibrations from the latest round blasted and can therefore quickly adjust the drilling and charging parameters for the next blast.
NCVIB can also provide public and third-party interests with information about blasts, vibrations and airborne shock-waves from the construction work. This reduces the cost of answering questions and distributing information on paper.
Tested over time and by size
NCVIB has been used on over 1000 projects in Sweden, Finland, Norway, Germany and • Luxemburg since 2002.
Used by large projects such as Kamppiparkki, Northern Link and City Line.•
Capable of handling very large projects, over 4000 blasts and over 1000 measuring points entered • on the Northern Link.
