Binding Site offers a comprehensive range of antibodies focusing on human serum proteins including their subclasses. Affi nity purifi ed, IgG fraction and conjugations to Fluorescein-Isothiocyanate (FITC) and Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) are routinely available. Additional custom formats can be made available on request.

Affi nity purifi ed antibodies (product codes starting A) are purifi ed against an immobilised antigen. In some instances, solid phase absorption is also utilised to reduce inter-species cross reactivity. IgG fraction antibodies (product codes starting P) are IgG fractions of sheep sera.

Human Immunoglobulins

A wide range of human immunoglobulins are available for use in immunoassay testing methodologies. In many instances the volumes of product are unspecifi ed to allow maximum customer choice and fl exibility.

Purifi ed Human Myeloma Antigens

Binding Site myeloma antigens are isolated from human serum and extensively purifi ed by ion exchange chromatography, gel fi ltration and affi nity chromatography. The isotype and light chain type of the myeloma protein is determined by immunoelectrophoresis. These products are supplied in buffer at greater than 95% purity.

Clinical Specimens USA / Germany only

Clinical specimens from human patients are essential, but often overlooked components.

Required for ensuring the validity and integrity of products prior to, and after market introduction, they are also necessary for a host of other critical studies:

• sample interference testing • assay specifi c performance characteristics • normal range determinations • validation studies • regulatory approval and clearance data and documentation

Specimens are available for a multitude of analytes, in a variety of different matrices (e.g. serum, plasma, urine, CSF), all of which can be collected and supplied to include any additional diagnostic information needed.

The integrity of specimens is always kept intact (frozen or refrigerated) and can be packaged to specifi c fi ll-volume requirements as a single source donor, or pooled sample. If necessary, required and requested documentation is completed according to jointly agreed SOPs and provided with each and every collection and shipment, along with our own CERTIFICATE OF TESTING for your records.

Human Rheumatoid Factor (RF)/IgG Absorbent

The accurate quantifi cation of human IgM in infectious disease assays may be disrupted by the presence of IgM class Rheumatoid Factor (RF) and by Immunoglobulin G (IgG). Human RF/IgG Absorbent is a reagent designed to remove both IgM class Rheumatoid Factor and IgG from serum prior to the quantifi cation of specifi c IgM.
