Q | how hot does the heating element get?

a | The Bindomatic 7000 and Bindomatic 9000 heat up to a temperature of 165˚C. Documents are already cooled down and ready for use when exiting the machine.

Q | What are the warranties for the Bindomatic 7000 and 9000?

a | The 7000 and 9000 comes with an one-year warranty*, barring any misuse or mishandling, at no charge.

Designed with the high-end user in mind, the 9000 boasts the capacity to process and thermally bind a document every two seconds — that’s 240 times faster than punch & bind methods and 180 times faster than tape binding.

Step-by-step, easy to follow instructions are on every Bindomatic® 9000.

Smooth panels allow the 9000 to be conveniently placed in a corner to save floor-space.

Recommended height of table for binder is 500mm

Documents are transported through the binder. The fully automated thermal binding process includes heating/cooling of glue and paper jogging/aligning and is com pleted in 2 minutes.

The cooling tray expands to accommodate documents as they emerge; bound and ready to use.

Once sheets are placed in the automatic cover size selector, the machine will show the correct cover spine width to use on the display.

Insert unbound documents into the 9000. The machine moves your documents to the thermal binding belt.

1. Insert one set of papers to be bound in the automatic cover size selector. The display will show the correct cover spine width to use.

2. Place document sheets in a Bindomatic cover, with the correct spine width, and align.

&3. DROP the ready-to-bind

documents into the loading area. Depending on spine width, as many as 60 documents per minute can be inserted.

4. GO! The machine will signal when the thermal binding process is complete — approximately 2 minutes. Remove the bound document(s) from the cooling tray.

Q | how do i make sure that all of the sheets are securely bound?

a | The Bindomatic binding method is the strongest binding method on the market for what is known as thermal binding. The binding is typically 4-5 times stronger than comparable solutions such as tape-binding, ring-binding, coil-binding, wire-binding, spiral-binding, etc.

Q | can you edit the document once it is bound?

a | Yes you can! Remove or add sheets multiple times.

Q | how many sheets can be bound with thicker paper than 80 gsm?

a | The easiest way is to use the measuring device integrated in the body of the Bindomatic® 7000 and 9000. Measuring your document this way will ensure that you use the cover with the correct spine width.

Q | i have a need to bind a document with more than 150 sheets, how do i do that?

a | Both Bindomatic 7000 and 9000 includes a smaller binder model 5000, which binds documents with thickness up to 54mm.
