PHARMACEUTICAL FILMS QUALITY THAT CONVINCES

PURELAY® Pharm offers the best protection for your

product in bubble-wrap packaging. The moulded

PURELAY film protects the product from environ-

mental influences. PURELAY® PHARM’S water vapour

permeability is far better than most plastic composite

films.

The quality of the barrier can be easily and quickly

checked by measuring the distributed wall thickness.

The risk of quality problems that are caused due to

damaged thin barriere layers are eliminated.

Only medically licensed and certified types of poly-

propylene are used for PURELAY® PHARM. The PURE-

LAY® PHARM thermoforming films are available in

thicknesses between 250 µm and 900 µm and they

are either transparent or coloured white or red. PURE-

LAY® PHARM fulfils all of the authorities requirements

according to DMF no. 17748.

The quality of PURELAY® PHARM has been used by

well-known customers in the pharmaceutical industry

for many years. Etimex's quality assurance achieves

an excellent standard. Qualitative statistics are avail-

able on request.

The clean room complies with DIN EN ISO 14644

(Class 8), which corresponds to the previous FDA 209

B (Class 100,000). The concentration of particles is

monitored continuously.

PURELAY® PHARMACEUTICAL FILMS

PURELAY® PHARM can be recycled not only as a ma-

terial but also as energy because it only consists of

one material that is based on carbon and hydrogen.

The PP plastic fractions are recycled in the mass flow as mono-blisters with PURELAY® LID. The recycling as

energy takes place in the composite with aluminium,

so that the consumption of fossil fuels is reduced in

this case.

These products are firm-sealing films for heavy-duty,

curely closed.

APPLICATION

These products are laminated against PET, or are

lacquered with a heat-resistant coating to be used

as peelable sealing films in FFS machines. The filled

versions are also suitable as punched plastic boards

for peelable sealing of trays and pots. Special designs

are also suitable for the sterilization of the filled

VISTALID® &VISTAPEEL® POLYPROPYLENE PEELABLE FILMS

These products are used in the food area as lid films

for dairy products, fruit cups and clip-on lids to con-

serve freshness if the film lid has already been peeled

off.

However, these formulas for films can be used in oth-

er areas where it is intended to open the contents

by peeling off the lid conveniently, e.g., contact lens

packaging.

Thermoforming sheets made from polypropylene (PP)

with finely crystallized PP-structure are manufac-

tured according to a patented process. The film excels

thanks to its outstanding reproducible thermoforming

properties and high level of transparency.

They are suitable for making thermo-formed packag-

ing on thermoform presses and FFS machines.

by injection moulding with the same properties. They

offer cost-effectiveness for large quantities because
