Flisher Photography is a professional photography service run by Head Photographer & Director, Luke Flisher. Based in Lincolnshire.

With a wealth of photography experience, specialising in wedding, family and commercial photography, my portfolio of clients includes a huge variety of businesses ranging from a local cake shop to an international brewery. No project is too small or large.

I have access to professional studios and storage facilities, so you can send a large quantity of products for photographing without having to make space. However, if you want to oversee the photoshoot I am able to pack my kit away and bring it to your office. Although I cover all of the Midlands, further travel can be arranged.

I cover a vast range of events and can even offer my amazing Magic Mirror Photo Booth for any corporate event.

Luke Flisher

Matty approached us about doing a promotional photoshoot for his music.

Matty wanted to get some new promotional photos for his new EP that he was putting out, and wanted to use his hometown of Boston as the back drop for these shots.

The weather was cold and a bit over cast at times but the effect of the cloud really added some dramatic effect to these images. Review

The BriefEdible Blossoms came to us via a recommendation. Previously, Ahmad from Edible Blossoms had lost trust in other photographers because of the images not being good quality and displaying the products in a poor fashion. We took our entire studio kit to their store in Nottingham. We tethered the camera to our laptop so we could show Ahmad the images as we progressed through the photoshoot. This gave him a lot of confidence in our work.

The BriefA Postcard From Brighton is a high-end fashion brand that specialises in lounge wear that is fashionable for wearing during the day and into the night. We were asked by the Head Fashion Designer to photograph their collection for autumn.

We sourced 3 models of different heights and build, plus a makeup artist and hair stylist. The photo shoot was a mixture of outdoor imagery and indoor studio photography. The photoshoot was based at our studio and the surrounding areas for the realistic look.

The BriefAway Resorts approached us in 2015 as they needed to increase their caravan sales. They were originally using mobile phones to take the images of the units; however this did not showcase the caravans to their full potential, which they believe is why they were not getting quality enquiries. For this reason, Away Resorts wanted high resolution images to use on their marketing publications and website. We suggested using our wide-angle lens in the smaller room’s to show the rooms true potential. This work soon became a monthly agreement. Due to our great working relationship, we also undertook other work - including their huge world record attempt, the awesome Pie Fight.

The BriefWe first met Dawn at Sophisticake at a wedding fayre and quickly got talking. Sophisticake have an extensive client base including the Royal Family. Dawn has always struggled with getting good images of her stunning cakes, as it is difficult for her to transport so many large cakes safely. So, we suggested that we could bring our portable studio kit and set up in her store. Once we had set up and started shooting; Dawn quickly commented how the pictures helped keep the focus on the cakes, and really emphasized the intricate detail on each cake. The proof is in the pudding (or cake!).

Review “I had wanted to get some professional photos of my cakes done for so long, but I had never found a photographer who would work with me and shoot at my store. That was, until I met Luke! I was so happy with the images, they really show the detail and quality of the cakes!”

Sophisticake

The BriefBeer “mmmm” What more can we say? The Great Yorkshire Brewery approached us with an exciting project - to photograph the brewery for their website and marketing materials. To do this we took a trip from Lincolnshire to North Yorkshire for a whole day to photograph the daily running of the brewery. This then led onto product photography of their bottles of beer and gift packs. We were able to store a large amount of their products in our unit, which enabled us to photograph the products on a regular basis as well as being cost effective by reducing transportation costs.

As Luke was so professional and hardworking, we decided to have our gift packs photographed. Luke was very creative, thought outside the box and used his own props to show the products off!”

TheVape store

BostonThe BriefThe Vape Store in Boston approached Flisher Photography as an opportunity had arisen to update the portfolio of images for their website and social media. With the ever-changing industry of vapes and a new competitor opening in the area, the Vape Store needed regular product and store imagery to capture their offer. As the Vape Store wanted a clean look to their instore photography we arranged to do the photoshoot on a Sunday, so we took out studio kit along with us to do the whole photoshoot in a day. The edited photos were delivered within 3 days of the photoshoot ready for their designer to use in the new marketing materials.

The BriefThis lovely little shop had recently opened in Boston so needed to create a leaflet to distribute in the local area to raise awareness and generate business. They needed some imagery to showcase the store to its greatest potential. We took our studio kit to light the store and display the amazing products they had. The rustic crates and beautiful coloured products made for beautiful images.

The BriefWe were approached by Helen at Taylor’d Therapies to photograph various aspects of her therapy business so she could use the images for her website and social media posts. This was split over 2 venues: For the first part Helen wanted us to photograph her set up of makeup and nail supplies, which was

done in our own studio. The second part of the booking was photographing a model having a massage, a manicure and henna tattoo. For this we had to be very discreet and get the right tone for the images.

The BriefGaz at Sleaford IT had recently done some work for me, building a new computer set up for my office. I noticed Gaz didn’t have any pictures of his work showing the amazing quality. I talked with him and informed him that really strong imagery helps to show future customers what you can offer.

Gaz, being a recent start-up was a little worried that the images of his home-based office may put customers off. I helped to put his mind at ease by focusing on the products and not the environment he worked in.

The BriefLianne approached me a couple of weeks ago after meeting at a wedding fair at the beautiful Kelham Hall.

She asked if I could come and capture some images of the corporate event they were apart of for Farmstar Ltd dealership and Case Tractors.

Farmstar had booked the beautiful Kelham hall as the back drop for their day.

They wanted to invite 70 local farmers to come and look round their stock and to have a go at the laser clays provided by Kelham Experience Co.

I was asked to try and capture the activity and get some branding in the shots too.

Review“I booked Luke for our corporate event. I was so impressed, Luke was able to blend into the background and managed to capture images within the groups of people.

We wanted to ensure that our clients branding was also in the photographs; Luke did this brilliantly, I really like the photos with the tractors in that background.”

The BriefGAIST are a techno duo from Nottinghamshire, comprised of Adam Wagstaff and Stu Allan. They approached me to get some new promotional shots and had a set idea of what they wanted.

We spent a while going through some ideas as they wanted an urban/industrial look, reminiscent to eastern bloc countries like Germany where techno is a big scene. They liked very dark and brooding images and provided many examples of work.

GAIST’s manager, Mark, who’s based in Ibiza, also had some requests and wanted to catch the boys’ good side of them laughing and enjoying themselves.

When we captured the image we thought black and white didn’t do it enough justice so really took the time to bring some colours out while still keeping the dark look they wanted.

Review“Working with Luke & the Flisher Photography team was great, the whole shoot from concept to completion was such a smooth process.

We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted to achieve from this year’s press shoot, and Luke brought our ideas to life and delivered every shot. The shoot its self was great fun.

The team were able to capture the shots very quickly, which was a bonus as the weather was horrendous. On the up-side, Luke managed to incorporate the weather into the images to create some really dramatic images.

The post production was really great, we were guided through the selection process and picked out over a hundred images that both us and our management loved. It took no time at all for the images to come back to us all polished and looking ready for the pages of Mixmag and our social media. We are really looking forward to working with Luke and the team again soon.“

The BriefStitched Up Embroidery are a new start-up business, and approached us about some new imagery for the web site they were having designed.

They wanted to show the quality of workmanship they produce, but, as they were a start-up they were still working from home so wanted the images to not look like a domestic premises.
