BluetoothSystem on ChipIn 1999, a small group of engineers had a big idea to create a Bluetooth® product on a single chip. Everyone said that it couldn’t be done, but they went ahead and did it anyway. And that was how CSR was born. From those early beginnings, CSR (now Qualcomm) transformed and extended its reach beyond world-leading exper-tise in Bluetooth technology, to become a diversified platform provider at the very center of the Internet of Things (IoT).
Atlantik has been a partner for CSR from the beginning. LoRaModulesLoRa is a proprietary, chirp spread spectrum (CSS) radio modulation technology for LPWAN used by LoRaWAN, Haystack Technologies, and Symphony Link. The WLRS-590 is designed & manufactured in a smallest form factor - SiP (System in Package). The WLRS-590 integrates a Semtech SX1276 and a 32-bit ultra-low power Cortex M0+ MCU (STM32L073x). It is a general purpose SiP for sensor in-tegration.
Sensor vendors can speed up their LPWAN integration by embedding this SiP in their design. The WLRS-590 can achieve a sensitivity of over -137dBm. The high sensitivity combined with the integrated +20dBm power amplifier yields industry leading link budget marking it optimal for any low data rate application requiring range or robustness.
LoRa technology provides low power long range high sensitivity communication using spread spectrum. This brings significant advantages in both blocking and selectivity over conventional modulation techniques, solving the traditional de-sign compromise between range, interference immunity and energy consumption.

M.2Front End ModulesM.2, formerly known as the Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF), is a specifica-tion for internally mounted computer expansion cards and associated connectors. It replaces the mSATA standard, which uses the PCI Express Mini Card physical layout and connectors. M.2‘s more flexible physical specification allows different module widths and lengths, makes the M.2 more suitable particularly for the use in small devices such as ultrabooks or tablets.
