Product Change Over ¾ Over the prior 22 years our AEG LS Contactors and XLS starters have built a strong reputation as a dependable high quality German line. Numerous industries and OEM’s have considered the major competitors designs as inferior product designs. Customers of our competitors have undergone four product line phase outs. This is AEG’s first. AEG is phasing out (obsoleting) their LS4 – LS247 contactor line and Type B27, B77 overload relays. Therefore, your FINAL ORDERS are accepted until the December 12, 2005 deadline. LS07, LS05, SH04, SH05 are NOT being phased out. Blanket Orders (phone or fax to release qtys.) are welcomed. ALL item quantities must be shipped before May 1, 2006. A contactor cross reference list is provided for your convenience. The new overload product bulletin conveniently lists the amp ranges for your old to new overload cross reference. Pricing Over the coming weeks our customer service office will cross reference accounts special pricing quote file to the new replacement products. It is our goal to match existing pricing whenever possible. The 2006 price increase will be factored in. EE Controls did not extend distributors a 2005 price increase, it has been 22 months since our last price increase! Over the prior 22 years our AEG LS Contactors and XLS starters have built a strong reputation as a dependable high quality German line. Numerous industries and OEM’s have considered the major competitors designs as inferior product designs. Customers of our competitors have undergone four product line phase outs. This is AEG’s first.

AEG is phasing out (obsoleting) their LS4 – LS247 contactor line and Type B27, B77 overload

relays. Therefore, your FINAL ORDERS are accepted until the December 12, 2005 deadline. LS07, LS05, SH04, SH05 are NOT being phased out.

Blanket Orders (phone or fax to release qtys.) are welcomed. ALL item quantities must be

A contactor cross reference list is provided for your convenience.

Economy Line

Additional introductions of new product lines will be announced in December.

SH4, SH8, SH10, SH17 Relays will be obsoleted Dec. 12, 2005. Therefore, we

recommend placing phone to release blanket orders by the deadline. New SH5, LS7-04 (4N.C.) relays will be offered to replace the above relays.

Stock Levels The “old” LS contactor and B27 and B77 overloads (which do plug into the “new” LSK contactors) will continue to be available ex-stock in 2006. Therefore, we look forward to continue filling orders until stock levels are depleted. LSK contactor design

AEG’s replacement line has been sold and listed in our catalog for five years. It is not a new untested product! Our customers have found the new line: 1. A more rugged product (Thermoplastic material). 2. A modern design. 3. Broader accessories offering. 4. Higher performance capabilities. 5. Additional sizes, versions.
