Basic Technology• Active harmonic filters employ the use of
power electronics, (IGBT based)
• Injection of a compensating current into the load, the waveform is restored, which dramatically reduces distortion to <5% THD, meeting IEEE 519 Standards.
• Power is rapidly moved from the AC source to the DC source electronic platform, then back to AC source, allowing for cancellation
