The 48c DC air conditioner (also called 100% off grid

system) is now available from IPT Solar Ltd. The 48v DC Air

Conditioner combines the latest in compressor and fan

technology combined with world leading low voltage

technology from the USA. The 48v DC system can be

combined with most market available solar controllers, solar

PV panels – both mono and poly and batteries that include

AGM, GEL and Lithium Iron (please seek further information

before using Lithium Iron). IPT Solar Ltd offers a

comprehensive range of parts to work with you 48v DC Air

Conditioner including solar controllers that will use AC

power if required. The AC power can come from inverter

systems, generator or utility sources.

48v DC (and 24v DC) Air Conditioners

work the same as traditional residential

and commercial air conditioners, they may

be either rotary or inverter systems. IPT

The ACDC Solar Hybrid Air Conditioner integrates the latest

solar panel technology directly into the air conditioner unit.

Unlike the solar 48v DC air conditioner the ACDC Solar

Hybrid Air Conditioner does not need any battery bank or

solar controller, all that is needed is built into the outdoor

unit. The ACDC Solar Hybrid Air Conditioner will use the

power generated from the solar panels before using the grid

power to complement the energy requirements needed to

run the air conditioner. The number of panels that can be

connected are related to the size of the air conditioner unit,

the, the size range for the maximum number of panels is

900w (2.6kw model) up to 1400w (7.2kw) system. Once you

have the ACDC Solar Hybrid Air Conditioner installed you

will immediately see the saving from running the system

during the daylight hours. The units are suitable for

residential and commercial use, especially where AC is only

required during the day.

The ACDC Solar Hybrid Air Conditioners

work the same as traditional residential

The IPT Solar Thermal Hybrid Air Conditioner integrates the

latest solar thermal panel technology directly into the air

conditioner unit. With the addition of the solar thermal panel

and correct positioning the IPT Solar Thermal Air

Conditioner will use up to 50% less electricity than standard

inverter air conditioner systems. The unique design of the

solar thermal air conditioner meets the strictest international

manufacturing standards. The solar thermal air conditioner

can be integrated with the solar hot water tri system to

reduce the energy usage by passing the heat from the hot

water tank into coil to heat the gas or in reverse the hot gas

heats the water.

The solar collector uses the sunshine

along with thermal radiation, the black

chrome plate inside the panel absorbs the

heat, simultaneously, passing the heat

absorbed into the copper conductors which

are welded behind this black chrome plate.

The thermal heat transmitted to the copper

conductors is kept hot by the insulation

built into the panel. The refrigerant then

comes out of the air conditioning system

goes through the heat absorbed copper

conductor, transferring the heat to the

refrigerant thereby enhancing the

temperature and pressure of the

refrigerant, turning it into a gas.

with an advanced solar thermal

panel using the suns energy to

heat the gas and reduce the

amount of time compressor runs.

Solar Hot Water Tube or Flat Panels are

available either integrated or separate. AC,

24v DC & 48v DC systems is available.

Element sizes of 1kw, 2kw & 3kw available

to boost the hot water temperature if

required.

Water tank sizes are available from 70L up

to 300L, please check what size is

available for roof mounting

DC systems can be run via battery and

solar panels. No mains power is needed

for these systems.

The IPT Solar – Independent hot water systems. Hot water

heating can account for up to 40% of an annual energy bill.

Solar hot water can reduce this by up to 80% (USA –

energy.gov). The solar hot water systems are available in

both tubes and flat panel systems the tube systems offer

slightly higher efficiency than the new flat panel models.

All systems are available in the both pressurized (ground

based tank) and unpressurized (roof mounted) models. We

The IPT Solar Energy Station is the latest solar lighting kit

that incorporates the newest technologies and energy

storage. The Energy Station completed testing and received

Lighting Global is the World Bank Group’s platform

Through Lighting Global, IFC and the World Bank work with

Energy Station has been tested according to the Quality Test Method (QTM) and meets the Lighting Global Quality

Standards. The tests were completed in August 2015 at the Schatz Energy Research Center In Arcata, California,

USA. The Energy Station boasts excellent results, after 2000 hours run time the original light output of the light

remains at 102%, the run time of solar charging is 3.3 hours with 3 lights on and 9.6 hours with one light on per

day.
