1. TREATING THE IMMATURE MOSQUITOS IN WATER OR OTHER BREEDING SITESApplying Altosid® Pro G or 30 day briquettes to water will control the immature and not allow these stages to develop into biting adults.
This is key in reducing the local population.
• Altosid® Pro G is a fine granule that is perfect for catch basins and small containers of water.
• Altosid® 30 Day Briquettes are appropriate for larger bodies of water (ponds, etc.).
Golf Course Mosquito ControlControlling mosquitos on a golf course is a three step process that includes treating
immature mosquitos with growth regulators, fogging large areas to control adults
and applying residual barrier treatments with the help of adjuvants. Asian tiger mosquito, Aedes (Ae.)
2. FOGGING LARGE AREAS TO CONTROL ADULT MOSQUITOSThe Curtis Dyna-Fog® Mini-Lite Mister is the perfect size to quickly mount on a
small utility vehicle for mosquito and fly control. Use Perm XTM 4-4 or Mosquito
Mist Ultra for fogging mosquitos. This is an effective way to treat larger areas
that are not practical for barrier treatments.

3. APPLY RESIDUAL BARRIER TREATMENTS TO FOLIAGE, VEGETATION AND OTHER LANDING/RESTING SITES WITH A BACK PACK MIST BLOWERUsing a Solo 451 Back Pack mist blower, treat vegetation around structures and holes on the golf
course. This is called a barrier treatment and kills adult mosquitos as they land on resting sites. This
type of treatment will last for 2-3 weeks, versus fogging which will have no residual control, just a knock-
down effect.

Droplex® .5 oz. + .25 oz. Aircover® - complete coverage on front and back of leaves
Water misted on leaves
Solo 451 Back Pack Mist Blower
Tree holes like this are potential breeding sites. The addition of pyriproxyfen will not allow immature
mosquitos to develop.
ENSURING COMPLETE COVERAGE AND IMPROVED PENETRATION: To the 3 gallon mix add .5-1 ounce of Droplex® and .25 ounces of Aircover®. This mixture will significantly improve coverage and can cause the
mist to penetrate up to two feet deeper into vegetation. This addition will improve product performance and can reduce call backs. It costs the
applicator approximately 45-60 cents per 3 gallon mix.
The spray mix needs to contain a pyrethroid, a growth regulator (pyriproxyfen) and a mixture
of WinField® proprietary adjuvants Aircover® and Droplex®. The pyrethroid will control the
adults. The growth regulator will break the life cycle of small container breeding mosquitoes
such as the Asian Tiger Mosquito. These types of mosquitoes can develop in very small
pockets of water, such as tree holes. Pyriproxyfen sprayed into these areas can last for
several months.
