Below are a list of documented soil benefits of biochar: Carbon sequestration Increase water retention in the soil Reduce Chemical and Fertilizer use Reduce nutrient leaching and run-off Enhanced porosity and aeration of soil pH amelioration Even though there is a huge potential agronomic benefits of biochar, it is important to understand that not all biochar will confer these benefits in every yielding scenario. Limited data is currently available regarding the use of biochar to a particular soil. However, Group 1 is dedicated in providing all the necessary guidelines to our customers, which will be elaborated more in the next section.
