You should cover your mouth when you cough, yawn, or sneeze. Germs can spread to others when you forget to do this.

When you ask for something you say, “please.” Do not say “Please” over and over again as a way to beg for something you want. That is not a polite thing to do at all.

When someone gives you something, you say, “thank you.” When someone says, “thank you,” you say “you’re welcome.” If someone gives you a compliment, you say, “thank you.”

Eat with your fork not your fingers. Take small bites. Don’t stuff your mouth with food. Eat slowly. Don’t gobble down your food. You should never shovel food bite after bite. Chew with your mouth closed. Never lick your fingers. Never rest your elbows on the table.

Conversation is like a game of ping-pong. You speak, and then it’s the other person’s turn. Back and forth the conversation goes. Don’t talk when someone else is speaking. Wait for him to stop.

When talking with someone, look them in the eye. Stay on Topic. Don’t jump to another topic quickly when it’s your turn. Comment about what the other person has been telling you about until both persons seem ready to move to another topic. Always Answer. If someone asks you a question, you should answer him. Never remain silent even if you feel shy.

Keep your hands to yourself. Don’t invade someone else’s space. It can make others uncomfortable when we move in too close. Don’t move your face right up close to the other person’s face when speaking to him. Stay back at a comfortable distance.

What is Good Sportsmanship? Good Sportsmanship is when teammates, opponents, coaches, and officials treat each other with respect. Here are some things to avoid doing when playing sports: • Cheating • Losing one's temper • Negative criticism of teammates, coaches, referees, and opposing players • Blaming teammates for poor team performance • Bragging • Trying to play the whole field • Arguing with referees' calls and judgments

Matthew 7:12, says “In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.” The Bible tells us that we should treat others the way we would want to be treated. (NASB) How do you like to be treated? (With respect, listened to, not interrupted, loved, shared with, treated fairly, honest with, follow through on promises.)
