Products for Oil Terminals
MARINE HOSE TEST UNITS For floating hoses, risers and reeled hoses. Hose Test Units meet the testing requirements of OCIMF,and are calibrated to give documentation confirming results against the OCIMF rules. In the event of a spill incident, these results can be used to demonstrate that the hoses have received in-service quality checks. The Oil Companies International Marine Forum, OCIMF, require that marine hoses used for the transport of oil products to be regularly checked to a specified series of tests. HTUs provide pressure and vacuum testing, electrical continuity and burst testing.
HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE TEST UNITS Fraser Pump has a range of Pressure Testing Units that can be used for testing pipelines, safety valves and pressure related components, and are calibrated to International Standards. The Units use compressed air normally available on site and within workshops to carry out hydrostatic pressure testing. A range of pressure and flow rates are available to meet most test applications. Units feature variable flow rate pumps to allow fast fill with high ultimate pressures, and suitable for sea or freshwater.
HAWSER LOAD MONITORING FOR SPMs and JETTIES
Hawser tension monitoring is essential for the safe and efficient operation of oil import and export terminals. In addition to hawser load information, the system can measure; wind and sea state data for predictive analysis, pipeline pressure and temperature to monitor the pumping
operation, gas detection and riser leakage detection for safety. Fraser Pump and Engineering monitors are based on latest advances in electronics, computing, and radio-telemetry. Such systems are easy to use, exceptionally reliable, and simple to install.
DIESEL FLUSHING PUMPS
Design and manufacture of pump systems to clients requirements, including fluid pumping, air and gas pumping, hydraulic and pneumatic process control systems. Flushing pumps sets available for marine hoses up to 2000 cu mtr /hour

Products for Corrosion Cleaning
SUB-AQUABRADE SUBSEA BLASTING SYSTEM Subaquabrade is used by divers the world over for rapid cleaning of structures, pipelines, and subsea completions. It combines compressed air delivered with low pressure abrasive slurry to form a unique surface cleaning system that is safe to use by divers and delivers rapid and consistent cleaning of marine growth. The system operates from the water margin down to 120 metres and uses nozzle pressures of no more than 50psig. safe system,- no high pressures that could injure divers. visibility - low grit usage does not cloud the work area. diver communications- Subaquabrade is quiet. reduced dive time- easy to deploy and up to 5 times faster
than traditional methods. Three models, 0-60 metres, 0-85 metres (for the Arabian Gulf), and 0-120 metres
HARBOUR-AQUABRADE SHALLOW WATER BLASTING Harbour Aquabrade is designed for corrosion removal and cleaning above and below the waterline. Models for 0-10 metres and 0-40 metres. Ideal for ship repair and hull cleaning. Other shallow water applications may include pipeline repair, cleaning oil residues and encrustation from harbour pilings and stonework. Hull cleaning, welding preparation and propeller polishing can be achieved without the need to take vessels into dry dock. Aggressive cleaning of corrosion in metal structures is achieved to SA 2.5 and SA 3 bare metal finishes, allowing high adhesion for paints. Gentle cleaning of delicate surfaces such as GRP hulls, wooden decking can also be achieved without damage to the material.
STONE-AQUABRADE INDUSTRIAL CLEANING The system operates by delivering a mixture of abrasives, water and compressed air in the form of slurry, against the surface requiring treatment. For use on stonework, concrete paving, and architectural features, the effect is to carry away encrustation ranging from old paint to corrosion products and soot. By varying the nozzle pressure and the mix of the slurry, it is possible to obtain various surface finishes from the clearing of heavily contaminated stone to gentle cleaning of carved detail on historic buildings.

MARINE HOSE TEST UNIT TO OCIMF REQUIREMENTS
Tests hoses, risers and pipelines
GMPHOM 2009 and BSEN 1765 compatible
Easy to transport
Simple to operate
Accurate measurement
Individual configuration
Hose Test Units prove the integrity of hoses used in the transport of oil between tankers, platforms, floating production vessels, and oil terminals.
The purpose built system enables quick and accurate testing.
Hose test units carry out hydrostatic testing in cycles up to the hose’s pressure rating. This determines the integrity of the casing from leakage and any out-of-specification elongation of the hose. The unit also carries out vacuum testing of hose sections, which allows inspection of the inner surface of the hose for blisters or separation of the inner tube from the carcass. Electrical continuity of the hose is also tested to OCIMFand GMPHOM requirements. A specialised hose test unit is available to carry out a destructive burst test on a sample hose section. Units are designed to meet the customer’s specifications, including power options and data storage.

LOAD MONITORLOAD MONITORLOAD MONITORLOAD MONITOR SYSTEMSSYSTEMSSYSTEMSSYSTEMS
Hawser tension monitoring is essential for the safe and efficient operation of oil import and export terminals. In addition to hawser load information, the system can optionally measure • wind and sea state data for predictive analysis , • pipeline pressure and temperature to monitor the pumping operation, • gas detection and riser leakage detection for safety. The single point mooring systems offered by Fraser Pump and Engineering are based on proven technology using latest advances in electronics, computing, and radio-telemetry. The result is a series of systems, easy to use, exceptionally reliable , and simple to install . All systems are test witnessed by Lloyd's , or ABS classification societies. Load pins are proof tested, and sensors are calibrated by the UK's National Physical Laboratory or other leading calibration laboratories. Fraser Pump works has supplied major SPM oil loading and flexible riser manufacturers with offshore test systems for more than 20 years. In addition it supplies process equipment for marine and offshore applications . All load measuring design and subsystems are supplied by Dynamic Load Monitoring , a company with a long history of line and hawser load measurement for terminals and offshore survey markets. An associated company NM Switchgear supplies control panels for offshore applications including hazardous area enclosures.

terminal from damage caused by excessive mooring loads
• Prevents damage by drifting
tankers with slack hawsers • Predicts high load situations in
advance of tide and meteorological changes
• Provides a record of events for
insurance or claims against tanker operators in the event of accident
Mooring arrangement Trip-plate load pins or instrumented shackles dependent on the buoy design
Mooring lines
1 or 2 hawsers, measured independently
Mooring loads
Typically 150-400 tonnes maximum tension
Monitoring options
• 0n-board data logger/chart recorder • Radio-telemetry or cell net data links to offshore control station
