API Gate ValvesVastas produces API 6A gate valves as 3000-5000-10000 class for wellhead and pipelineneeds. Vastas API 6A valves features - bolted bonnet & rising stem, bi-directional sealing & fullbore, pressure seal & metal to metal seat (hard face), self-relieving cavity and full confine.

Operation of the valves - manual, electric multi-turn, hydraulic double acting, pneumatic doubleacting, pneumatic single action spring return (fail open or close), hydraulic single action springreturn (failed open or close).

Expanding Gate Valves"Expanding Gate" is defined by API 6D and positiveintersection of seat faces is provided by expanding onopen/close positions. This feature gives the same resultas created by wedge gates. Intersection or separation ofseat faces easily without being far away from each otheris an advantage.

Parallel Slab Gate Valves"Slab Gate" as defined by API 6D may alsobe called as "Parallel Disc".

Seat faces are protected at open/closepositions. Bleeding of body cavity isavailable which allows monitoring of tightshut off. Soft seat faces are ENP25V750(only PSSM), 13Cr (all sealing types), 316Sst., CoCr-A (Stellite), Monel or TCC.

Wedge Gate ValvesWedge gate valves are of outsidescrewed and yoke of low torquetype, with rising stem, equivalentflow passage to the pipeline,flexible under stresses andblocking, suitable to work withdifferent actuators andaccessories.

It is used as pipeline valve, shut-offvalve, isolation valve, drain valve,vent valve and on/off valve at oil,gas, water, sea water and steamlines.

Pressure Balance Plug ValvesPlug valves have a conicalor clylindrical obturatorrotating around the axisperpendicular to the flowdirection, hence bymatching the body and theobturator flow openingsreleases the flow,otherwise closes the valve.

Swing, Dual Disc, Nozzle Check ValvesSwing check valves are produced within a wide range ofsizes, controlling the flow economically. They have anobturator responding automatically to block flowing fluid inone direction.


Closure is maintained bycompressing the obturator into thebody cavity and using a properlubricant between the rotatingfaces. Plug valves arerecommended for on/off services

ESD – Emergency Shutdown Valves, LBV – Line BreakValves and SOV – Shutoff ValvesVastas shutdown valves (ESD & LBV) can be used foremergency and non-approved operation cases. SOV valves willprevent entrance to the process under inconvenience cases.The lines cannot be put in operation again without approval ofauthorities.

Valves are fully tested and set as per operating conditions.

Field services and start up commencement are available uponrequest.

Valves by TECHNICAL

Pilot Operated Safety Valve 30000 SeriesPilot operated Safety Valves 30000 Series are derived from the conventional valves of the same series and retain the sameorifices. They are designed and manufactured in accordance with the API 526 standard.

The full range of sizes from 1”x2” and up to 8”x10” with orifice from “D” to “T” is available forpressure ratings up to pressure class 2500x600.

Their main feature is the adjustable blowdown from 2% to 7% of set pressure and the pilot that canbe “pop” action or modular type.

The models currently available are full nozzle or semi nozzle type andinclude as standard accessories, the back flow preventer and the strainer.

The pilot operated safety valves are used mainly in the Oil & Gas Industryand share with the “mother series” the range of available materials.These valves can be customized with accessories such as filed testconnector, manual opening device, soft seat and etc.

The valves are certified by PED, GOST-R and GGTN-K

The design, calculation and selections, manufacturing andtesting are based on the following standards:

Safety Valve 30000 SeriesThe 30000 Series pressure relief valves has been designedfor steam, gaseous and liquid fluids applications. The valvesare full-nozzle type, full lift and spring loaded.

Safety Valve 20000 SeriesFull nozzle and full lift safety valves, suitable for gas, vapour and liquid services.

20000 Series safety valves have a “metal on metal” seat and are available in bronze, carbonsteel, stainless steel and super-alloy, with orifice diameter from 8 mm to 9.5 mm.Connections can be flanged or threaded, from ½” to“1”.Maximum setting pressure 700 bar.Typical application : protection of tank under pressure ; protection against thermalexpansion, cryogenics.

Safety Valve 10000 SeriesThe special features of the safety relief valves 10000 Series are of full nozzle and full lift type. Theyposses a high discharge coefficient (K=0.96).

Valve Choke SeriesThe control valves Choke Series enter in TECHNICAL products range and completeavailability for plant automation of hydrocarbons from wells. Further to the traditionalconfiguration the overlapped discs with holes that modify the valve passage port, it has beenintroduced an innovative and updated flow rate control system based on the use of severalcalibrated holes, positioned on the upper disc. Materials availability according to the mostimportant rules and discs execution in hardened stainless steel or in tungsten carbide makethese control valves suitable as for standard use as well for heavy duty application and witha high wear and tear level.

Changeover ValveChangeover valves manufactured byTECHNICAL are suitable for use for manypressure ranges and many type of liquids.The valves can either be furnished withflanged or welded pipe connections.

Gate ValvesGate valve, Series GV are used mainlydownstream of separators for dischargethe water in excess. The configurationrequest is “solid block” which provides thecoupling of the shut down valves and thecontrol valves in single block.

The valves have integral single-acting actuator and may be made ofcarbon steel or stainless steel. Their strength is constituted by thetungsten carbide seat that ensure a higher wear resistance.

The proposal can also include a control panel that can be customizedwith limit switches, solenoid valves, pressure gauges and etc.

Other Products - AutomatismThe range of instrumentation manufactured by TECHNICAL comprisesof pneumatic pressure switches, servo valves and excess flow valves.They are all made of AISI 316L material.

By working in the automation of plant controlled by air network, thesedevices optimize, thanks to their precision of operation, the sequenceof process.
