Dinamakan Pipa Jacking karena carapemasangan atau installasi pipa dilakukan tanpamengadakan penggalian (ekskavasi) tanah untukmembuat galian/parit. Pemasangan dilakukan dengancara mengebor tanah dan kemudian mendorong pipatersebut dari titik awal - starting pit ke titik akhir -arriving pit.

Dengan metode pemasangan pipa jacking inidimungkinkan melakukan pemasangan pipa dibawahjalan dengan lalu lintas yang padat tanpa menggangukelancaran lalu lintas kendaraan. Selain dapatmenghindarkan gangguan kenyamanan lingkunganakibat pekerjaan galian untuk installasi pipa, metodejacking ini akan lebih menguntungkan dari segi ekonomidiantaranya; kerugian yang dapat dihitung langsungakibat tidak beroperasinya jalan tol atau kereta, biayapembuatan struktur penguat bilamana tidakmenggunakan Pipa Jacking.

PIPA BETON JACKING BERTULANG REINFORCED CONCRETE JACKING PIPE

Its called Jacking pipe because the installationis conducted without excavated the ground/land to makeentrenchment or ditch. Installation conducted by drillingthe ground and then jacking the pipe from the startingpit to the arriving pit.

This jacking pipe instalation method it is possibleto install the pipe under the high traffic street withoutdisrupting the vehicle traffic. Besides to avoid theenviromental convenience problem due to the excavationwork for the pipes installation, this jacking method willbe more profitable in the economic terms, such as lossescan be calculated directly because the toll or train wayare not operated, the cost of reinforcement manufacturewhen it is not using the jacking pipe
