The Florida International Banker’s Association (FIBA)–FIU Anti Money Laundering
Certified Associate (AMLCA) certification is the foundation you need to build a
robust AML compliance program. The comprehensive course is designed for
AML compliance officers, BSA analysts, risk managers, AML consultants, people
who are new to AML compliance, or experienced AML officers who need to
expand their knowledge base in order to advance in their institutions. This course
will help financial institutions to effectively implement “know your customer”
policies, monitor transactions through their financial institution, and identify
suspicious activity.
At the end of the course, students will take FIBA AMLCA certification exam, and
those participants that pass the exam will earn the prestigious FIBA–FIU Anti
Money Laundering Certified Associate (AMLCA) designation. This program is

is a 12-week, fully online certification program in partnership with
Florida International University designed to focus on the daily
responsibilities of the AML/BSA compliance officer. This program is
delivered in both English and Spanish.
FIBA - FIU Certified Professional in AML (CPAML) | en Español
The FIBA-FIU Certified Professional in AML (CP/AML) is the
highest level of certification offered through The FIBA AML Institute
in partnership with FIU. The course reflects the daily challenges
faced by the AML Manager. Through a series of case studies, this
course addresses the challenges of managing an AML compliance
department. These include: risk assessment, AML management,
transaction monitoring, SAR investigations, responding to
subpoenas, customer data reviews, and consequences of an
enforcement action.
At the end of the course, students will take FIBA CPAML
certification exam, and those participants that pass the exam will
earn the prestigious FIBA-FIU Certified Professional in AML (CP/

The FIBA Broker/Dealer AML Certificate is a full day professional

industry practitioners both in the United States and Latin America,

FIBA – Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) Implementation
Training
The Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) is an important development
in U.S. efforts to improve tax compliance involving foreign financial assets and
offshore accounts. FATCA requires foreign financial institutions (FFIs) to report
directly to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) information on financial
accounts held by U.S. taxpayers, or held by foreign entities in which U.S.
taxpayers hold a substantial ownership interest.
In this course, you will learn how FATCA affects your business, understand the
due diligence requirements, how to report U.S. accounts, and how to apply the
30% withholding tax that may be required in the case of certain payments.
FIBA – Correspondent Banking AML Certificate | en Español
This course is designed for both U.S. financial institutions offering correspondent
banking as well as for foreign financial institutions, which have or are seeking
a U.S. correspondent banking relationship. U.S. financial institutions will
acquire practical knowledge to apply to their compliance program. The foreign
financial institution will have a much better understanding and appreciation for
understanding the correspondent relationship and be able to demonstrate to
its U.S. correspondent bank its compliance program to respond to contract
requirements.

Get the training you need to become a Certified Treasury Professional® (CTP).
Sponsored by the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP), the CTP is
recognized as the global standard of excellence in corporate treasury and

This certificate program, which is the only face-to-face program in

Supply Chain ProgramsExecutive Certificate in International Supply Chain Management
This comprehensive certificate program is designed for both individuals
new to supply chain management as well as seasoned professionals.
Developed by the College of Business at FIU, the certificate program
includes six modules that cover all relevant areas such as: fundamentals
and global logistics, import and export, supply management,
transportation, and quantitative logistics.
Each module will be delivered in three weekends at Florida International
University. Materials and textbook will be provided.
Fundamentals of Logistics
Expand your professional capabilities and learn about the critical role of
logistics in supply chain management from industry experts. Logistics
fundamentals are central to business success, and include transportation,
inventory management, warehousing and customer relationship
management. In this module, participants learn to analyze logistics
systems to support customer’s demand, measure logistics costs and the
impact on service, profit and revenues, and under how logistics affects a
firm’s sustainability.
Fundamentals of Import and Export
Fundamentals of Import & Export will familiarize participants with import and
export laws, customs regulations, proper approach to conduct domestic and
international business, and practical topics of logistics and transportation
issues. This module will also cover the theory of international merchandise trade;
students will explore the payment methods, risk analysis, and import-export
documentation. Topics include methods of entry into foreign markets, international
contracts, terms of trade and payment, commercial documents, insurance,

Supply management is the heart and soul of supply chain interactions. The chain

This module covers such topics as strategic issues to consider when deciding
to outsource manufacturing, understand how companies benefit from buying
globally, and the major components that make up the total cost of good or
service.
