SCTE Cable College atRochester Institute of Technology (RIT)
• In June 2006, extending its professional development mission into the higher education arena, the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) announced the formation of the SCTE Cable College at RIT. SCTE Cable College will deliver a comprehensive cable-centric educational program for telecom technicians and engineers in the cable industry. This program will be delivered through courses and degree programs offered by the Electrical, Computer and Telecommunications Engineering department and the Center for Multidisciplinary Studies and is a partnership with The Cable College and RIT.
