Re: ACCT 4320 assignment 7 instructions (Dillards)

1. Assignment 7 (failure to follow directions will result in Grade of ZERO)

a. This assignment uses the Dillards data file that you created on the on UARK remoter server.

b. You have been asked to create a summary pivot table of 2015 data for the Midwest division which includes stores in Arkansas(AK), Kansas(KS), Missouri(MO), and Oklahoma(OK).

c. You need to add one additional record to your Dillards file populating the following fields:

i. Tran_Date: 01-01-2015ii. State: AR

iii. Store: Store should be your first initial last name. For example my store would be G Berg

iv. Failure to follow this step will result in a grade of ZERO

d. The summary table for the Midwest division you create needs to show:i. Total 2015 sales by state by store

ii. Total 2015 average sales by state by storeiii. Each states percentage of total regional sales and each stores

percentage of total state sales. 2. Submission requirement

a. Highlight your pivot table and copy itb. Using the paste special feature, paste the pivot table into a word document

as either a picture (windows metafile) or as a device independent Bitmap.(windows metafile preferred)

3. Submit your word file via D2L dropbox

a. Files submitted to the wrong dropbox will receive a grade of 0b. If you have an issue and need me to take a look at what you have done, send the file as

an email attachment.i. I will not tell you the answer, but I will try to point you in the right direction

c. On rare occasions, a file may be corrupted in the upload process to D2L. It is your responsibility to make sure that you upload the correct file and to make sure the file uploaded correctly. . Failure to do so will result in a grade of zero

4. This is not a group assignment. Students should work independently.

a. Copying/plagiarism will result in a grade of 0 for all parties involved.

5. Due on 10-05-2018, 11:30 p.m. 6. Remember, file must be virus free. (Any assignment received containing a Virus receives a grade of
