Create variable documents: Drag and drop database

information into a variable template via Atlas PrintShop

Mail. Use your native authoring tool and save the

template as a PDF or EPS file. During printing, variable

database information is inserted in the template on the fly.

Scan and OCR: Scan documents and images and

export them as PDF files. Use ScanSoft OmniPage

Pro 11 to convert scanned image PDF files to search-

able vector files using Optical Character Recognition

(OCR) technology.

Edit: Through the Enfocus PitStop Professional 5.0

plug-in, use Adobe Acrobat’s interactive editing

tools to perform 140 PDF profile checks and 70

correction functions.

Imposition: Use ScenicSoft Preps XL 4.0 to impose

any combination of PDF, PostScript, EPS, DCS, TIFF,

and RDO files into signatures and eliminate the time

consuming manual set up of jobs.

Preflight: Drop PDF files into a preflight “hot folder”

that automatically processes and categorizes them for

the next step in your workflow.
