Ethics and Professional Skills module ACCA students need to complete the Professional Ethics Module

before qualifying. This online module focuses on developing the

complete range of vital skills employers now seek whilst retaining a

focus on being an ethical accountant. Professional ethics is at the

heart of the ACCA qualification. It is covered in 11 out of 15 exams

including all the professional papers, there are no strict rules on when

you have to take the Ethics and Professional Skills module, but you

must complete it before applying for ACCA membership. The module

is open to you after you’ve completed papers AB, MA and FA. We

normally would recommend you take the Professional Ethics Module

at the same time as you study the Strategic Professional level,

Essentials, or before.

Awards

ACCA, UK, upon successful completion of the ACCA

professional examination with relevant working experience will

enable graduates to become Associate of Chartered Certified

Accountants and use the designatory letters ACCA.

Course Duration

ACCA has set seven years to pass the exams at Strategic

Professional level. The time limit starts when you pass your first

Strategic Professional level exam.

There are no time limits for passing the Applied Knowledge and

Skill levels.

Entry Requirement

i. Pass STPM or equivalent to minimum grade C + (CGPA 2.33) in any two

subjects and credit in Mathematics at the SPM level, OR

ii. Passed Malaysian Higher Religious Certificate (STAM) with minimum

grade Jayyid (good), and credit in Mathematics in SPM, OR

iii. Diploma in accounting or related fields or equivalent to a minimum CGPA

of 2.50, OR

iv. Eligibility Matriculation / Foundation or equivalent to minimum CGPA 2.50

and credit in Mathematics in SPM, OR

v. Unified Examination Certificate (UEC), with grade B in 5 subjects

including English and Mathematics, OR

vi. Passed 2 Subjects in GCE A-Level / Cambridge Overseas Higher School

Certificate (Grade AE or 9-4) and 3 subjects in the GCE O-Level /

Cambridge Overseas Higher School Certificate (AC or 1-6) in 5 separate

subjects including Mathematics and English.

vii. Other qualifications recognized as equivalent to it by the Malaysian

government.

Entry Requirements

• Pass O-Level / SPM with 5 credits including English Language and

Mathematics OR equivalent to it by the Malaysian government.

Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) R2/344/6/0129 (A7913) 07/22

Award

By CIMA U.K Upon successful completion of the CIMA professional examination with

practical working experience you will be admitted to associate membership and granted

the Associate Chartered Management accountant (ACMA) and Chartered Global

Management Accountant (CGMA) designations.

Entry Requirements

i. Passed STPM or equivalent to minimum grade C + (CGPA 2.33) in any two subjects

and credit in Mathematics at SPM level.
