Savannah-Chatham County Public School System Project Manager Savannah, 2013 / Present

As a project manager I often interact with vendors and staff to convey the organization’s vision through providing the following for every project: project charters, process maps, brainstorming sessions, task assignments, status reports, testing and frequent feedback to ensure each project’s success. Implemented the following projects at the Savannah Chatham County Public School System: Human Resources Applicant Tracking System, Online Pre-K Lottery and Registration, Maintenance Work Order System and the Managed Print Service Project. I have a vast background that includes accounting, budgeting, contract modeling, managing staff and military leadership skills.

Produced an award winning School District Budget Book by submitting the book on time with the best quality. Automated mainframe functions to input departmental budgets and HR staffing in order to provide an efficient way of achieving the organization’s goals. Projected student enrollment, staffing and departmental budgets.

Completed performance reviews, coached, motivated and equipped a staff of 30. Served on the Healthcare Information System upgrade and Revenue Enhancement committees. Increased GA Medicaid revenue from $50.3M in FY03 to $80.8M in FY04. Audited bills to ensure government regulation compliance.

US Army Reserves First Lieutenant Augusta, 1994/ 2003

Scheduled training and needed logistics for a unit of 50 soldiers to ensure unit deployment readiness. Helped design the curriculum and maintained the monthly training calendars. Taught large class sizes based on lesson plans created. Was responsible for leading physical training to ensure all soldiers could pass the annual physical fitness test.
