K-Line1500 Pro The new K-Line 1500 pro has replaced the K-Line1200 hydraulic, two wheel power unit. The new mid range model retains all of the popular features that are utilised on the previous model and packs more in as well. The K-line1500 is pow-ered by a 6.5hp Honda petrol engine, up-rated hydraulic system with an option of independent attachment speed control. Heavy duty adjustable handlebars offer much lower vibration levels than the previous model. An operator presence control lever is fitted for safer operation. K-Line 820 Utility Sweeper

The Kertsen K-Line 820 is a robust compact sweeping machine designed to manage smaller sites. The machine retains many of the important features that outdoor sweeping applications require including collection of material and a side gulley brush, sweeper angling and fine height adjustment. The sweeper is fully hydraulic which ensures very low maintenance, great versatility and simple operation. The large drive wheels allow the sweeper to negotiate rough terrain and kerb edges and provide a generous surface area to reduce ground pressure. The K-Line 820 is at home on an endless range of surfaces including tarmac, concrete, block paving, artificial surfaces as well as natural turf. Folding handlebars may be ordered allowing the sweeping machine to be easily transported and stored.

The K-Line 1500pro 2 wheel tractors feature premium engines, hydraulic transmission to the wheels and hydraulic power take off to the implement. The hydraulic systems allow the operator to finely adjust the power unit for many tasks. The Kersten quick-attach system is a standard feature of these machines. Changing implements may be achieved in a matter of seconds without the need for any tools. A generous range of attachments may be fitted to this versatile power unit including sweepers, collectors, weed brush, snow blade and grit spreader. The F900 sweeper attachment may be used to maintain artificial sports surfaces especially with the use of the sand separation collector.

K-Line 2000 and 2000pro

The Kersten K-Line 2000 is a versatile hydraulic 2 wheel tractor which will probably exceed your expectations in its design, durability and operation. Finger tip control with fine adjustments for transmission speed and implement speed. The quick-attach implements are also designed to be versatile. The powered sweepers may be finely adjusted in so many ways to suit a multiplicity of applications including moss removal, fine dust collection and turf sweeping. The side gulley brush can dramatically improve the appearance of any site. All Kersten sweepers are able to be fitted with a collection system.


Maintaining artificial sports surfaces is a particular talent that the Kersten K-series sweepers possess. Utilising the quick-attach front sweeping machines, collector/separator, the Uni-brush 250 and the trailing sulky seat if required, a comprehensive maintenance program may be accomplished. This includes removing debris, levelling, grooming, presenting and redistributing sand or rubber filling materials. Our machines get right up the edge and in the corners without compacting the surface. The K series can also access most pedestrian gates. The Kersten quick-attach system allows implements to be changed in seconds without requiring any tools.

The vanes of the quick-attach spreader may be adjusted to achieve an even distribution of spread material over a 0.5—4 metres width. The machine will spread most free running materials. There is an optional damp material agitator and cover available.

The standard sweeping brush makes a great job of sweeping snow if you can get on it before it becomes compacted. The sweeper can be fitted with a special snow brush which will handle more volume of snow if required. The other quick-attach implements ensure the Kersten K-Line 2000 can be utilised all the year round.

The quick-attach Weedbrush is powered by the hydraulic power take off featured on all of the K-Line series 2 wheel tractors. The Weedbrush features a variety of settings which allow it to be adjusted to remove stubborn, ingrained material from just about every type of hard surface. May also be fitted to K1500Pro The Weedbrush can be supplied with 2 types of replaceable brushes. The mixed steel Versa-brush penetrates between stones or joints on an open type surface and the steel plaits wipe up to 75cm of soil and debris from the sealed type surface as in path edging.

K-Line 2000 Weedbrush

The Kersten KCM976 quick-attach cylinder mower attachment turns your K2000pro into a highly efficient pedestrian mowing machine. A 30” (76cm) 6 blade cylinder is driven by a top, inboard, mounted hydraulic motor. The cylinder offers a superior cut and is easily adjustable to the bottom blade. The noise and vibration levels of this unit are surprisingly low. The distance between the drive wheels of the K2000pro and the cutting unit allow the machine to access gateways considerably narrower than the cutting width of the mower. The clean lines of the side plates allow the operator to mow close to obstacles to reduce secondary trimming. The full width adjustable roller allows the cutting height to be finely set between 13mm and 50mm. The high clip rate gives a quality finish at forward speeds of up to 7km/h. The quick-attach system allows the cutting unit to float

from side to side and to be removed in seconds for easy servicing and minimum down time for the power unit.

In addition to most of the standard features found on the K-2000Pro the UBS machines incorporate a fully independent, heavy duty, mechanical power take off drive to operate a wider range of more powerful attachments. The “Hydro” transmission features automatic differential lock and “zero turn” powered steering. These machines can operate heavier duty pedestrian equipment with less operator fatigue. Kersten mowing attachments for the UBS power unit feature the Kersten quick-attach system which provides a pivot point allowing the cutting unit to follow ground contours easily. They are all driven from the mechanical independent power take off. In common with all Kersten machines, these mowers have been designed for commercial use. Each solution offers great durability and ensures the UBS power unit can be utilised all year round. The Vela features a massive 350 litre collection bag. This is supported on a sturdy trailing platform to ensure the weight of the debris is not supported by the handlebars. The collection bag may be emptied whilst on the machine or simply unhooked. Summer dust lining bags may be used to reduce dust or as a convenient quick change container. The height of the front intake may be adjusted to allow for collection from various types of surface. The front gulley brush allow edges and corners to be cleaned quickly and easily. They are also useful for shifting stuck down leaves and silt that other vacuum machines leave behind. Kersten Vento have noise levels of less than 84db. At this level ear protection is not normally required. The lightweight aluminium impeller keeps the machine weight to a minimum. The fan produces an air velocity of up to 230 km/h. This innovative design utilises inlet and outlet silencers. The outlet housing may be rotated 180to blow to the left or right or anywhere in between. The air flow may also be diverted to blow forwards if required. Auxiliary cage wheels are quick attach steel wheels that are designed to give maximum traction on banks especially when having to manoeuvre on grass that has already been cut. Whilst the wheelbase of the machine is increased out side the cutting width, the design ensures the uncut crop is not rolled down so remains standing to be cut on the next run. Kersten FKM 1275 Sweeper mounted on a New Holland TC 27D tractor using original front linkage and front PTO. This sweeper is fitted with a collector and a side gulley brush. The gulley brush (part 1300 700) is operated by an independent hydraulic system mounted on the sweeper. This kit includes a pump, driven from the sweeper gear box, reservoir and operating/speed regulating valve. The side gulley brush may also be fitted to a hydraulic drive sweeping machine. In this case, the gulley brush may be fitted in the sweeper drive circuit which would be powered by the tractor hydraulic system. The hydraulic system would require an oil flow of at least 15 litres/minute. The sweeper may be angled from left to right manually or with the optional hydraulic cylinder.

Weedbrush for Tractors From 22-35hp


The Weedbrush can be supplied with 2 types replaceable brushes. The mixed steel Versa-brush penetrates between stones or joints on an open type surface and the round steel Hausa brush can wipe in excess 100mm of soil and debris from the surface as in path edging. The Weedbrush machines feature various adjustments for height and angle. This allows the machine to follow contours of the surface effectively with regular adjustment. The remote electric control valve kit allows these adjustments to be made from the operators seat and requires the feed of just one hydraulic service from the tractor.

Weeds growing in soil bound, poorly draining, loose surfaces such as gravel, Redgra and loose stones can be removed by the Kersten Pathway Renovator. The special heavy duty tines rotate in the surface to the depth of the root/soil level loosening and sepa-rating the materials leaving the debris on the top to be raked or blown and removed. This action will not only remove weeds but also de-compact the surface and improve drainage. Depth is con-trolled by a front mounted roller. These attachments are rear three point linkage mounted and oper-ated by 540rpm power take off.

Attachments For Forklifts

The KM range of sweepers are designed for heavy duty yard sweeping. They may be quickly attached to most forklift trucks with an auxiliary service with a flow of at least 20 litres/minute. Important features include an inboard mounted motor with a duplex chain drive to the brush ensuring the narrowest overall width. The large diameter brush makes easy work of bulky debris. The sweeper is attached simply by driving the forks into the hitch and then using the hand-wheels to clamp the forks in to the hitch. The sweeper collector may be high tipped by simply lifting the sweeper on the mast.

The HFKM machines may be finely adjusted for height using the two rear jockey wheels allowing a wide variety of operations to be carried out. A 5 row, spiral, 2 piece, poly, brush is supplied as standard suitable for general sweeping. Full and poly/steel mixture brushes are available on demand.

The Meyer Polyhawk is an in body or trailer mounted spreader. It features a high tensile chain conveyor system which delivers a wide variety of materials to the rear spinner disc. A total of 6 adjustable baffles ensure you can deliver the exact amount of material precisely where you want it. The complete system is almost silent being powered from a 12v electric motor that is operated by wireless remote control. Standard features include a top screen to break up large clumps of material, belt shields, and the Meyer inverted V to prevent bridging.
