Estas diapositivas pueden ayudar a desarrollar las cuatro habilidades de la comunicación en inglés: speaking, writing, reading y listening. Además, permite usar las descripciones de las profesiones para desarrollar evaluaciones según la parte 2 de la prueba saber 11.
SPEAKING: Preguntas como: ¿Who is he? What does he/she do? What does butcher mean? O What is a butcher?
WRITING: Se les puede animar a escribir definiciones de las profesiones con base en dos estructuras básicas: 1) Butcher is a person who sells… 2) Butcher is a person whose job is to sell… Para ello deben conocer verbos claves.
READING : Solicitar la lectura de los significados después de habérseles pronunciado correctamente para que se guíen.
LISTENING: Se puede dictar los significado de las palabras después que se hayan familiarizado con ellas. O se pueden graban con un traductor para que ellos la escriban.

which is often eaten fried.
2. MR. NEEDLE IS A DOCTOR
NEEDLE is a thin metal pin, used in sewing, which is pointed at one end and has a hole called an eye at the other end for thread.
3. MR. CAVE IS A MINER
CAVE is a large hole in the side of a hill, cliff or mountain, or one that is underground.
4. MR. WHITE IS A PAINTER
PAINTER is someone whose job is to paint surfaces, such as walls and doors.
5. MRS. CHILD IS A PEDIATRIC NURSE
NURSE is a person whose job is to care for people who are ill or injured, especially in a hospital.
6. MR. POISON IS A SCIENTIST
POISON is a substance that can make people or animals ill or kill them if they eat or drink it.
13. DIVER
A PERSON WHO DIVES AS A SPORT, OR WHO WORKS OR SEARCHES FOR THINGS UNDER WATER USING SPECIAL BREATHING EQUIPMENT.
14. ROOF BUILDER
Mend= arreglar
SOMEONE WHO BUILDS ROOFS OR THE COVERING THAT FORMS THE TOP OF A BUILDING.
16. PAVER
A PERSON WHO COVERS AN AREA OF GROUND WITH A HARD FLAT SURFACE OF PIECES OF
STONE, CONCRETE OR BRICKS.
17. SECRETARY
SOMEONE WHO WORKS IN AN OFFICE, WRITING LETTERS, MAKING TELEPHONE CALLS AND ARRANGING MEETINGS FOR A PERSON
29. SOLDIER
A PERSON WHO IS IN AN ARMY AND WEARS ITS UNIFORM, ESPECIALLY SOMEONE WHO FIGHTS WHEN THERE IS A WAR
31. JOURNALIST
A PERSON WHO WRITES NEWS STORIES OR ARTICLES FOR A NEWSPAPER OR MAGAZINE OR BROADCASTS THEM ON RADIO OR TELEVISION
