This image could be used for a front cover of a magazine. This is because there is plenty of space for writing along the left side. And also the image is a close up so we can recognise who it is so the photo shows character which the audience can recognise.

I would use this picture for a contents page, I would cut the image out form its background and write around it, but I could also place text on the image.

I would use this image for a double page spread on the band. The use of a low angled camera shot connotes the bands importance which creates mood and atmosphere. The black and white setting also adds to the atmosphere of the shot which is a convention of a double page spread.

I would use this picture for my double page spread as it has all of the band in a line, and the background is easy to cut out and change so it will be easy to put text around it or cut out the image. The black background creates atmosphere which is usually found in double page spreads.
