The main role of the Board of Directors is to provide general superintendence and control the a�airs of the company through appropriate delegation and accountability processes via the lines of command. However the Board of Directors holds the ultimate responsibility & accountability with due diligence for conducting the activities of the company as per provisions of law in the interest of the shareholders, the stakeholders, the state and the society. The Board of Directors, in ful�llment of its responsibility holds meetings as and when necessary and such meetings usually consider operational performance, �nancial results, review of budgets & annual business plan, capital expenditure proposals for BMRE or new projects/divisions/product lines, procurement of funds by issue of shares or borrowing, procurement of raw materials, plant & machinery, pricing of products/discounts, recruitment, training and promotion of o�cers, approval of audited accounts and distribution of dividends and other interest of the stakeholders including the employees and workers. The Executive Management is led by the Managing Director who is appointed by the Board of Directors for a term of 5 years (renewable) with the approval of shareholders in the Annual General Meeting. He is a medical graduate from Mymensingh Medical Collage under University of Dhaka. He also holds a Masters Degree in Public Health from Mahidol University, Thailand and Ph.D. from Cambridge University, UK. Before joining in Delta Pharma Limited, he has gained 18 years professional experience in the Govt. Health Sector of the country. His strong leadership and professional expertise is leading the company distinctly ahead in this sector.

Our PlantsWeaving dreams into reality
Manufacturing Unit:Our manufacturing plant is located in Kishoreganj which is about 80 km away in the North-East of the capital city, Dhaka. This is a state of the art manufacturing facility for oral dosage forms and all facilities have been developed meeting the requirements of cGMP. The plant is designed for segregation of raw materials, proper management of in-process materials, and storage of �nished products under controlled conditions. We have segregated and dedicated manufacturing facilities for general production and Cephalosporin production.
Highly sophisticated HVAC systems are used to control the environmental condition, monitor and supply clean air to the working zone according to the cGMP complience manufacturing zone concept, capture and control any dust, vapour, gas or fume generated, as well as treatment of exhausted air. Segregated heating, Ventilation and Air conditioning systems are designed to facilitate the manufacturing process and to prevent cross-contamination. The manufactureing operations are carried out according to the validated procedure maintaining man-material �ow by using most modern and sophisticated machineries.

Quality Control Department:Delta Pharma Limited has a well-equipped quality controlled department led by a Manager from the very beginning of its commencement. Latest instrument and apparatus, most recent methods, processes and technologies, and quali�ed people including Pharmacist, Chemists and Microbiologist are the main strengths of this department. From the entry of the raw and packing materials to the exit of the �nished goods, this department plays a vital role.Delta Pharma Limited has a Quality Control Department comprising physical, chemical, instrumental, microbiological sections and equipped with state of the art analytical and microbiological quality control instruments for our quality control at each and every stage of the manufacturing process. Quality Control Department is followed by the guidline of BP, USP, WHO, cGMP, GLP and ISO 9001:2015 management system.
Quality Assurance Department:“Quality Assurance” is a wide-ranging concept covering all matters that individually or collectively in�uence the quality of a product. The totality of the arrangements made with the object of ensuring that pharmaceutical products are of the quality required for their intended use. The system of Quality Assurance appropriate to the manufacture of pharmaceutical products should ensure GMP and GLP.Delta Pharma Limited has implemented a comprehensive quality system (ISO 9001:2015). Quality Assurance (QA) procedures ensure that the quality of the products is maintained by strict compliance with international pharmacopoeias (BP, USP, etc) speci�cations on raw materials, packaging materials and �nished products. This department enables implementation, assessment, and reporting which is necessary for guaranteeing that the products manufactured by maintaining cGMP and conform to the requirements and expectations of the customers.This department is responsible for maintaining all documents, records and standard operating procedures (SOP), making sure that they are up to date. We accord the highest priority to quality control and adequate precautions are taken to ensure that there are no lapses on this front.
Product Development Department:Our Product Development Department has been contributing to a very fast growth of our product line in the market. Their e�orts are the re�ection of our belief in quality and innovation.Driven by our aspiration to become an international pharmaceutical company we have built expertise in innovation and development. Our e�orts are focused on the development of cost-e�ective, high-quality drugs and on bringing down the cost of medicine to amicable levels for all.
ETP (E�uent Treatment Plant):Waste materials generated during operation are neutralized through di�erent chemical and biological treatment (ETP). Waste materials are removed at appropriate intervals and properly disposed. The capacity of the ETP is 1000 lit/hr. The output (water) of the treated material is environmental friendly and even suitable for gardening.

Local Market:Our local market is the mainstream of our business. Step by Step Delta Pharma Limited touches its 14th business year successfully. Now we operate our local business with 118 products in di�erent dosages form including tablets, capsules, PFS and other liquids. From the very beginning to today, we have developed in di�erent parameters including management and production systems as well as value sales and pro�tability of the company.
We have 1329 shareholder who are the potential doctors of Bangladesh and they are very much in�uencial in the pharma market. We are absolutely focused on prescription that’s why we are able to retain our sustainable growth. We are committed to our shareholders to make their dreams come true that is to make a witness in our people’s health through quality products at an a�ordable price.
Our local market is driven by indoor marketing department that is called Product Management Department (PMD) trough a group of dynamic, innovative, young and energetic people. Their innovation is also the pathway of our success. The main objective of this department is to establish a brand through innonative strategies and onwards to achieve company’s vision, mission, goal and objectives. We have a dynamic sales team which consists of about 800 graduate peoples. They are the major contributors of our local business.

Distribution Channel:
Delta Pharma Limited has its own distribution system which is very dependable and well connected to deliver stocks to each and every chemist in all regions. It has a central Warehouse and 15 (�fteen) Depots to ensure delivery even at the remote periphery within very short time of receipt of orders and these are controlled by the Logistics Management Wings. There are about 250 employees working in the distribution channel to deliver the products from the Plant premises to the customers’ shop across the urban and rural areas. Primarily the products are taken into Central warehouse from the �nished goods store of plant and then distributed to the regional distribution o�ces as per requirements. We have su�cient number of delivery vans including freezer vans to ensure smooth delivery of all categories of product in time to the customers’ end.
The regional distribution o�ces outside the Dhaka city are situated in Narayangonj, Comilla, Noakhali, Chittagong, Sylhet, Mymensingh, Tangail, Faridpur, Jessore, Khulna, Barisal, Bogra, Rangpur and Rajshahi.

Global pharmaceutical industry is one of the most sensitive and regulated business sectors. Bangladesh develops this sector due to its industry friendly government policies and now this industry ful�lls 98% of the local market demand. In addition to that Bangladesh is exporting more than 150 countries around the world including USA, UK, and European Union. Extension of the WTO TRIPS gives us the opportunity to produce any patented products in generic version and that creates a huge opportunity for us to go for contract manufacturing since we have the capacity and technology for it.
Delta Pharma Limited gives priority in International Business from the beginning, we have started our export operation and exploration in April, 2007 formally by recruiting dedicated person for exploring export market. We got our �rst product registration in 2009 from FDA Myanmar and started formal export in mid of 2009. Recently we have got the GMP certi�cate from FDA, Philippines which strengthen our export business. Now we have regulatory business with 9 countries and with other 5/6 countries our registration process is ongoing. We have a strong desire to put our strong footing in Africa in 2018 onwards.
